It will be a clear, glistening, slimey, gel-like substance, and sometimes it will appear to be milky or creamy looking. This is the mucous that the candida inhabits. Also, during times of diarrhea you may notice a "film" on the surface of the water... sort of like an oil film floating on water. The symptoms of candida will be noticeable before this, however, as you may feel lethargic, fogged-in, unable to concentrate, and also you may have had chronic sinusitis, ear infections, chronic colds and flu, GI upsets and other digestive problems, and a long list of other things. Candida can be the culprit behind a lot of different health conditions and diseases which doctors claim 'there are no known causes'. The truth is, they don't want to know.
