I also meant to mention water aerobics. I get great relief and pyhsical freedom in the water. It allows the spine to open up since there is little gravity in the water. You just use a weight belt to keep you afloat and having your legs dangle and float in the water is such a relief from the pressure on the spine.
I do water aerobics twice a week and look forward to the pain free hour I get to spend there!
