Hi,
If a person as no amalgums in his/her mouth is there any concern about getting a gold crown put on a tooth that already has had a root canal? I am already aware of the problems with root canals. For health reasons the tooth should be pulled, I know this, but we're not considering that an option. My question concerns the use of gold, & yes it would be gold. Does anyone have any evidence that gold in the mouth is a health hazard? Next question concerns having a false tooth installed where a tooth was pulled. I understand they can drill the bone & somehow wedge a replacement in without using metal? Is anyone aware of this or a similar procedure to have something permenantly installed? We do not want to use a partial which requires removal to clean etc.
Thank you
