You should absolutely not be taking thyroid hormone if blood tests have not shown you to be hypothyroid. You could end up elevating your thyroid levels and go into thyrotoxic crisis, which could be potentially lethal. Same with adrenal supplements. How were your DHEAS levels on the saliva test results and how did they correlate with your anxiety, insomnia and aderenaline rushes? ... ... Mine came up very low and I had no adrenaline or anxiety at the time of testing so I’m looking to find a relationship here. I heard that DHEA is a GABA antagonist. ... ... Thank you ... ... Hmm cant edit my text for some reason. My theory is that if you are healthy you dont need truckloads of iodine. Yes iodine defiency might trigger hashimoto’s but there has to be reason for defiency. In Western countrys these days should not have iodine defiency. So i think it has to do something with glutein in most cases. For example celiacs, if they keep eating gluten it will harm their intestine that might lead to vitamin/mineral defiencies including iodine. Just using common sense here.. ... [End]
