Howdy Hopiso, Country Mama recommended I give you a call. I have a question regarding the Master Cleanse (sorry, I know this is a liver flush thread, but this was the only way I could contact you). I have a friend who wants to do the MC in a week. Her problem is that she cannot drink orange juice. OJ is needed when coming off of the MC so to adjust the body and prep it for normal food consumption. My question is what can she drink in place of OJ? She CAN drink grapefruit juice but I don’t know if that will do the trick. Country Mama made reference to apple juice but I thought that was a li ...   [retrieve this message]

Hi read your post. Intrested in the itching bit,you said it could be toxins trying to get out. I have itching and my hand keeps having a spasm in it. Iv’e flushed 4 times now. Iv’e had these symtoms for 4 or 5 days now. I last flushed 2 weeks ago? Was your itching after a week or so after the flush? How did you get the toxins out? did you just let your body do it? All I can tell you is that I tried a flush only a week after the last one and had poor results. I was also very weak after that flush. I think a period of two weeks between flushes is a good idea; especially when you are dealing with stones in your liver as opposed to stones in the gall bladder. It takes a while for stones to work their way out of the smaller ducts. Try eating cleansing foods, do one or two coffee enemas a week, and avoid trigger foods that you know will give you pain. Unless you have a stone stuck in the bile duct, you’ll be better off waiting. Here is a quote from an art ...   [retrieve this message]

  • Re: fasting before flush and I am miserable by Mangala  10 year   1,142

Breaking your fast will stop the detox, so in that sense you’ll feel better, not worse. (The olive oil potion is about 1000 calories, after all, so your fast will be shattered.) But you might interrupt a healing process if you break your fast while you feel bad. Generally it is best to break a fast when you feel good, when you’re not in the middle of a ”healing event”. ... ... Just a thought.   [End]

  • Re: Another Liver Cleanse question? by Mangala  10 year   1,105

Do whatever you feel like during that period-- it doesn’t matter. But if you are tired from the fasting aspect of it, then it would be better to take it easy and save your strength. Being tired from fasting usually means the body is working on healing something-- otherwise you get plenty of energy from burning fat.   [End]

  • Re: Epsom Salt vs. Sea Salt for Liver Cleanse? by hopinso  10 year   4,618

Epsom salts are needed for the liver flush. They not only provide a strong laxative action, but the Magnesium Sulphate relaxes the bile ducts making it easier to pass larger stones. It tastes nasty, but it is an important ingredient in many flushes. Sea salt will clean you out, but that’s all. Do not use both in the same day, they can be very dehydrating.   [End]

Apple juice helps soften the stones and helps them pass easily. I do it mostly because its what my doctor suggests. I always dilute my juice with filtered or distilled water. It is sweet and a little too strong for my taste. The lemon juice you had doing MC is also supposed to be a great cleanser for the liver, so I imagine you are doing enough. I’m going back on MC too, although I will continue the apple juice on Saturday. The main thing is not to overload your system with bad foods and to drink plenty of pure water so you can get rehydrated after the flush. I’m not totally sure, but I think those tan stone shaped things may be cholesterol chaff that has been expelled. Some of it is loose, and some clumped together. Its definately not normal fecal material. I examined some (thank goodness for surgical gloves!) and they seemed to have the same waxy texture as the loose chaff and stones. I’m glad your flush is going well. I’m right behind you. I spent 10 days on Master Cleanse, three days on apple juice and I’m flushing tonight. This is my first time to flush after MC. I usually just apple juice fast for about three days.   [End]

I had my GB removed last year and I am still flushing every two or three weeks. I started flushing two months ago when I couldn’t take the pain and indigestion anymore. You have time to read. Please cancel your surgery. It is a quick fix and not a solution to your problems. Detoxing is the way to go. I feel so much better since starting a detox program.   [End]

No,if you feel you need to do a coffee enema do it after all the salt water flushes are complete or the night before.Coffee enema after will help clean out any stones or toxins that are left behind from the salt water flushes.Dehydration is also a issue with coffee enemas and salt flushes so be careful mixing the two.   [End]

I hope you can avoid surgery if at all possible. Chronic bad breath is a sign of a toxic body. Be warned! It may get worse before it gets better. It will probably take a series of flushes to rid yourself of gall stones and clean your liver, but it is worth it. • Pink Grapefruit vs Ruby Red for Liver Flush - does it matte? by Mattigan  10 year   4,662

The liver flush I am going to do tomorrow (don’t know the name of it as I don’t have it with me) calls for pink grapefruit. This may be a silly question but is ”ruby red” grapefruit the same as pink grapefruit? I hope so as that is all I can find where I live. I want to do everything exactly right so that’s why I’m being so anal about the instructions. ... ... Thanks for your input. ... -Mattigan   [End]

Hi All, ... my fiance and I finished our 8th liver flush last weekend. ... He has several liver challeges that would no doubt send toxins through his system on their way out. ... His eyes have been bloodshot, red since. ... Has this happened to anyone doing flushes with extra liver system challenges? ... Thanks, ... Colleen   [End]

  • supple skin after liver flush by Me_Fil  10 year   1,560

Just did my first Andreas Moritz liver flush on the weekend (The Amazing Liver Cleanse). (have done lots of liver flushing before but never a series, this time, I’ll be going to the end!). ... ... Anyway, 2 days later my skin feels so different - really soft and supple. It’s amazing. I remember this happening after my very first liver flush years ago when i really flushed out lots of toxic blocked stuff. Well to me, it just proves that the liver flush really does improve the condition of the liver!   [End]

Just some general info would help for a beginner. ... How do you make yogurt? Not the cows milk kind, or is there any other way of making it? ... Thanks, ... Robbie ... PS for Bones, ”I live in So. California and was wondering if it’s too far for you to maybe send me some.”?   [End]

Im usually a bit bound up after a flush but i think much of what you had in your system comes out with the salt flushes in liquid form.Make sure to drink lots of water the day after the flush, dehydration can cause you to get constipated. Most my stones are about pea size or smaller with a few marble size ones.Im still waiting for that boulder to come out.   [End]

Kefir is a fermented milk or water beverage. You dont use starter kits,it is made from kefir grains that do not die if you take care of them. They actually grow and after a while you will have more then youll need and that is why people give them away for free. The only cost is the milk and if you dont make a half gallon a day like myself its very cheap. Most people charge 10 to 15 dollars for a batch of grains to cover shipping and handling.I got mine from Dom the kefir king,he lives in Austrailia but there is a list of people that live all over the world that are willing to send grains for c ...   [retrieve this message]

My first flush produced only pea size stones too. Is this typical? And also, is it normal not to have a bowel movement the day after flushing? I haven’t had one all day today.   [End]

I had my wisdom teeth removed 2 days ago, for which I recieved IV sedation. Since, I have been taking ibuprofen and Vicodin for pain. I know my liver will greatly appreciate a cleansing after this but I was wondering how long after stopping these meds I should wait to flush, or if I can just do it right away.   [End]

  • Passing blood clot during period by Robbie  10 year   6,590

I just completed my first flush monday as you all know but today,(wedensday) I have started my period. I passed a blood clot while I was urinating and I’m feeling REALLY tired too. Is the blood clot normal after flushing right before your period or even since it’s my first flush and I did it a day before my period? ... I was wondering because I think I remember reading somewere that the liver hold old blood. Also, This extreme tiredness & fogginess just came on me a few hours ago. I was feeling fine yesterday and then this morning I got up a ran some errands. I came home and I started to ...   [retrieve this message]

Bone, I have a question about kefir, basically, where do I find it? I did a seach to learn more about it and it sounds like something I want to try. I live in a very rural area, the nearest health food store is over 30 miles away. Can it be ordered on line? Also can it be made at home like yogurt with a starter? I am on a very limited income, hate pills, even natural ones, and want the very best foods I can afford. The probiotic properties sound like Kefir is something everyone should need to use.   [End]
