Well, I have a similar story, Years back I had an accident and following that, The doctors from London Day Surgery Centre told me to have dental implants done(right side of the jaw). Ozone is now injected into the cavitations, and the bone regrows. Apical ozone injections [root tip] can get rid of the infection and ’save’ the root canal tooth. • do I really need a root canal by pisicutamea  15 mon   807

Hi! ... ... I have a pain in my left side of my mouth. I wasn’t able to identify the tooth(s) it was coming from. The pain was coming and going. I extracted all my wisdom teeth because that’s what my dentist advised me. A few weeks ago, the pain came back. I don’t know if I grind during sleepin but I don’t think I do. However, I grind my teeth when they hurt me, because it feels uncomfortable and I was trying to identify the exact location of my pain. I might have aggravated the teeth by grinding. ... ... Anyway, my X-ray don’t show anything, except for a filling in tooth 15. The dendodotist wants ...   [retrieve this message]

SeaHag, You can say it, but no one can say with absolute certainty that ”I was exceptionally healthy most my life till I had the root canal and amalgam fillings put in in my mid twenties.” ... ... Why? Because the things dentists add and remove from our mouths cause changes that are a) subtle, b) delayed, and c) unknown because little or no independent testing has ever been done. ... ... And because, thanks to the ADA -- and various government agencies that always side with them -- most of us have been programmed to be in denial mode. That is we keep denying that our lack of health has been due to ...   [retrieve this message]

  • Re: zirconium or metal bridge? by FocusOnHealth  15 mon   1,059

Zirconium is a lot like porcelain. A bit weaker than titanium or other metals, and most dentists tend to talk you out of using zirconium. ... ... However, metal is metal, and no metal should be in anyone’s body. Especially in your mouth. ... ... As to implants/artificial roots, usually the metal is not even titanium, but an alloy of titanium, chromium and aluminum, and the latter causes Alzheimer’s Disease. ... ... Metal bridges are more elaborate/complex/obvious and depend on the dental lab your dentist uses. Too many times the lab uses nickel. However, if you want to preserve your health, no metal/n ...   [retrieve this message]

  • Implants vs. root canal treatments by FocusOnHealth  15 mon   1,001

That’s why, in the long run, implants are better than root canals, esp. for people w/ chronic health conditions. ... ... I tend to agree with this statement, however going under the knife is ALWAYS SCARY and you never get used to surgical procedures. ... ... The long-long wait (of up to 18 months -- which usually less but just in case there are complications -- is another thing you might want to consider very carefully. ... ... Also consider implants are far more expensive than root canals. ... ... All in all, perhaps the greatest advice is the following: Don’t let anyone do any of your root canals. ... ... gibby, you MAY have the greatest dentist in the whole wide world, but in my estimation there appears to be a lot of miscommunication between you and your dentist. ... ... OTOH, it is true that IF in the unlikely event your root canal treatment turned into an apioectomy, then the latter would have been done with amalgam. ... ... OTOH, typical root canals do not need apioectomies and amalgam fillings. ... ... (NaturalNews) A former Fall River, Massachusetts, dentist has pleaded guilty to bilking the Medicaid system out of $130,000, illegally prescribing prescription drugs, intimidating a witness, and committing assault and battery. CBS Connecticut reports that Michael Clair had been running a third-rate dental practice in which he was substituting stainless steel posts with paper clips during root canal procedures on his patients. ... ... Just my 2 cents, but I’d go with the antibiotics ASAP. An absessed tooth can lead that infection straight to your heart. I’m all for garlic & herbal treatments for minor issues, but in this situation I don’t think it’s worth the risk. ... ... I hope you feel better!   [End]

Hello everyone ... I have had all my amalgam fillings removed, also a gold filling, thinking i would feel better, which i do. But I still experience brain fog and wondered if anyone has had their root canals removed, what it is called and how much it cost. My wholistic dentist gave me an estimate of $5000! ... that was for a crown, my root canal is on my front tooth ( of all places)! ... Any responses would be appreciated.   [End]

It’s very difficult to say what could be wrong without seeing anything. Your problem could be a bad filling or poorly adjusted occlusion (bite) on your filling. Also some people have tooth nerves that are closer to outside surface of the tooth, which make for more sensitivity in some spots.   [End]
