I didn’t read the book. I skimmed through it at a book store and I was at his seminar in Chicago. His seminar was very good. I think he mentioned you can buy the oral version of HCG from a doctor. I think the price is around $50.00. HCG by itself does not make someone lose weight. Kevin said there is an FDA tag with every bottle stating this fact. You have to use it with the protocol. Kevin himself did not want to follow the Simmeon’s protocol years ago. Over the years we have seen his weight fluctuate. I haven’t read his book. I wanted to buy it but didn’t after I researched it on Amazon.ca. The overwhelming majority of people who wrote in with their comments (like 97%) wrote in that he was a sham and didn’t give much advice, even on the stuff he claimed in the Informercials. Anf ther ewere lots of reviews - over 100 if my memory serves me correctly. I wanted to buy it for the herpes info myself, and one the respondents wrote in that he didn’t even give out the herbal cure, or the name of the herb. I ordered this STUPID book, because he claimed there was something you could stop eating to cure Multiple Sclerosis on the infomercial...he NEVER mentions MS in the book or names a single chemical. Kevin Trudeau spoke about the movie ”Supersize Me” during the seminar. I never saw the movie. At the end of the movie there was something that stated that he gained 28 pounds and he was unable to lose that weight through a program with a personal trainer. I hear you. This sounds more like a Kevin T. bashing. But HCG is working for many people to lose weight that have not been able to lose weight before. Yes you could lose weight on just the diet, but your body would go into starvation mode and start storing fat. Not bashing kevin here but losing one pound a day on any diet is asking for trouble! Just like Atkins diet many found it easy to shed the pounds but paid the price for it in the long run with many complication, mine was gallstones. I lost 40# in about two months thought it was great but soon started having gallbladder attacks! I am still suffering from a gallstone lodged in my bile duct to large to pass and havent yet been able to dissolve it to make it small enough to pass! [End]

I have to disagree. The Atkins diet was superior in this manner adipose fat was the target and muscle mass actually increases! ... Since at least one or both of you seem to know the intricate functions of the hypothalamus gland and the pancreas, please explain why it it more important to manage your insulin levels. ... ... Raider, I appreciate your comments! I have a question that you may or may not be able to answer. I used to sell pharmaceuticals and I am very into reading studies and information on any type of drug! I Googled HcG for information and have found some things that concern me, especially that Hcg is commonly found in tumors! I have also found that it is unknown whether it is the cancer and tumor which produces Hcg, or whether it is HcG that produces the cancer and tumor! Have you found any information regarding this? I have the recipee and I made it many times already. It is soooooo good!!!! I make it ”brownie style” I put walnuts and raisins in it but you can put whatever you want. It gives you a lot of energy. I craved the bread because it was so good. I don’t need to lose weight so I wouldn’t know if that it does it or not but you will lose your appetite. [End]

HGC is just a band aid approach, if it works at all the way KT suggests it does! But no matter it doesnt correct the real problem and that is bad life style diet and an imbalance it the body chemistry, all organs are important but when an organ has problems its not because its missing some drug, its acidic in its nature and will not function properly until this condition is remedied and no single pill or drug can do that!Correct the balance of the body and all disease will find an inhospitiable place to dwell! It does if you take imbalance of the body into effect if one is imbalanced in any of the organs or blood or deficient of nutrients or proper intestinal flora then one cannot assimalite food properly! Trudeau is an ex-con who did several years in jail for credit card fraud so I would take anything he says with a grain of salt. However, I do remember reading something about old debts being forgiven. These were debts from years ago that had been turned over to collection agencies - if you essentially played dumb and refused to acknowledge them then I remember some people got off of the hook. Credit card debts may be a different story though. That industry is pretty powerful. They are tied into the banks. The only one of those juices I drink is the acai. Acai juice doesn’t have high concentrations of sugar. I suspect its ORAC value is much higher than those other ones he posted about. I would bet that freeze dried acai has value being over 10 times higher than any of those others. All the juice manufacturers mix acai with flavored juices. It wouldn’t have any flavor because its juice is so low in sugar. I think added sugar is the problem with a lot of drinks. Some fairly sweet drinks don’t have added sugars. The blood type diet is garbage, nothing more than an author making money on a new health fad. From a molecular standpoint the differences between blood types is 1 molecule. Everyone makes the O antigen, those with type A add one molecule a sugar called N-Acetylgalactosamine to the O antigen. Type B add the sugar Galactose to the O antigen.
