Since my last p/b shake cycle which lasted for one month consuming three tablespoons of psyllium before meals and not really achieving anymore than abit of port colored wine crap being expelled. ... The soft green things are still in dispute, it seems. ... We have conflicting reports on them. I will be trying the dye test (discussed at length a number of pages back in this forum) tomorrow. This should resolve the issue without having to appeal to possibly faulty medical tests and Internet hearsay. IF the test works, people can just try it and see for themselves. Unless, of course, I don’t get any soft stones out this time (unlikely, I’d say, since I got 400 or so on my first flush, including some big ones.) ... ... Hi. Yes, I’d read this earlier. Again, I’ll opt for the dye test over hearsay. Just my personal preference. The only impressive part of this passage to me is the claim that ”the stone” are 90% cholesterol. But this is hearsay and the quote doesn’t mention what exactly was tested and how much of it was tested and how different many cases were tested and under what circumstances. We are supposed to accept all this on authority, of course. You have a point there, but clearly these green things are not just olive oil (if they contain olive oil at all). Olive ... oil would only be one ingredient in the chemical soup that (supposedly) precipitates these green things. So ... the quantity of oil wouldn’t necessarily add up to the amount of stones--in particular there could be either more or less of the stones than of the oil. ... ... I quite agree with what you say.... this forum has come up with a lot of second-hand reports from doctors that these stones are largely made of cholesterol, and I think Agnes is probably right that olive oil contains little cholesterol. ... ... All of this makes it highly likely that the test will come back positive. And if so, maybe we can just put this whole argument to rest at last. Clever idea, but my immediate reaction is that chickens have very different digestive systems, so the chemicals involved will be very different. I’d be genuinely surprised if you get stones from a chicken. ... ... Incidentally, I’m not sure your objection to the test is all that serious. If the stain doesn’t enter the center part of the stone, there has to be some reason for that. The only reason I can think of is that the center of the ’stone’ was not penetrated by the coloring. The only way it could escape being colored is to have started out somewhere were the coloring wasn’t present ...

everything i have read about irregular periods always say its normal for the first year or so, but it has been over 5 years and i am still very irregular sometimes not having it for 6 months or more at a time. when i eventually get it its either very very brown/black in color or will come for a day and then go away and not come back for awhile. could something be wrong.
