Thanks mate, ... ... It’s a very difficult situation to be in. I found it helped a lot to find have someone to talk with about the problem. ... ... I tried a few different GP’s but they only really were interested in prescribing drugs. One doctor told me he couldn’t smell anything! This was after I’d just got off a plane and left the other passengers around me gasping for air at the terminal. ... ... I’m sure you will find a cure too, don’t give up. [End]

Hi, ... ... That’s a very good point and something I’m still wary of. Its only early days yet and has been about a month. ... ... I am slowly trying different foods in small doses and waiting to see if there is any effect the next day. ... ... So far so good :) I’m feeling a lot better internally so am confident this is not a temporary fix. ... ... I travel frequently and am enjoying not having any snide remarks from other airline passengers :) ... ... I’m yet to have a drink, have been saving a nice bottle of wine which I plan to crack after I’m given the all clear at my next appointment. ... ...

Hi Surfer 27, ... ... The brand of Golden Seal is Natures Own and was taken in capsule form with my meals. I’m not exactly sure what it does internally. The way it was explained to me by the Dr was my stomach was only processing food at 15% capacity. She prescribed the supplements to get it working properly again. I think there may have been a problem with the lining or some sort of cell damage. I have another appointment later this month as a follow up so will ask some more questions. I neglected to mention in my post that I was already taking a probiotic at the time and have continued taking ...

Hi, ... ... No I don’t take those supplements anymore. I take a probiotic called inner health plus and a multivitamin daily. I’ve certainly learned a lot about my body during this process, everyones cure will be a little different I’m sure. For what its worth my Naturopath practised something called Kinesiology which I had never seen or heard of prior to walking into her Chiropractic clinic. Google that and see if there is a practitioner in your area. 2 Years ago I would have dismissed it all as quackery, but obviously am a firm believer now :) ... ...
