The HTP axis is the ” Hypothylmus, Pituatary, Adrenal axis. ... ... Just from what I’ve read on Dr. Lam’s book on Adrenal Fatigue, the Hyothylamus, Pituatary glands are in the brain. They are the first in the stress response team to send the distress signals to the adrenal glands, telling them, hey we need cortisol here and now. In my case, when this happens ( and many many others) if the cortisol is not adequate, it still tries to rob of what little cortisol you have and or also secretes adrenaline which comes from the inner part of the adrenal gland, the Medulla. This is what causes the an ...

Hi. And so sorry for your symptoms. ... Do you take your thyroid med. in the morning? ... ... In many cases, Thyroid and the adrenal glands work together. Seems when one of these glands is off, it effects the other, especially if anxiety and stress are involved, that generally points to adrenal and the HPA-axis. And, than taking Thyroid med can put more stress on the already stressed adrenal glands. ... Both glands need to be treated, but the adrenals first. ... ... I’m wondering if you may be very low in available cortisol in the morning and afternoon ( as I am) and your cortisol is higher into the ...

Hi Marie. ... Your story and progress is wonderful and inspiring and a real struggle for you I’m sure. ... ... Were there other venues/supplements/etc. you may have used to compliment with the NB program? ... Like ”C” or Pantethenic acid or any of the other adrenal supports? ... ... I did do quite a bit better when starting on the 15mg. of hydrocortisone and T3 3 years ago, than once I started to taper down on them ( along with some unavoidable stressors) I declined more and more. Like you mentioned, I do believe this cortison weaning process takes a long time. I’ve gone down from 15mg. a day now at 7. ...

I tend to agree with Sherpa. I’m sure though these supplements would be fine for a person who has a mild form of AF.
