Limit milk and dairy products. There are several reasons to restrict or eliminate the intake of milk in chronic candidiasis. Milk’s high lactose content promotes the overgrowth of candida. This past saturday evening I attended a harvest-dinner hosted by the husband and wife who run a small farmers-market that itself is an adjunct to the CSA (crop share association) they have been running for about 10 years now. The quick background to my experience of coming to know this couple is, about 2 months ago, while reading various articles connected to Jerry Brunetti, I found out that within 10 miles of where I live there is a small dairy operations locally producing raw milk and a few derivative products (namely, cheese). It is really difficult for me to imagine someone describing raw milk as awful. It is not THAT different from the store-bought junk. To me it tastes better, fresher, more alive. I wouldn’t throw in all the stuff about god, but I agree that it’s unnatural for humans to drink the milk of another animal. Furthermore, if you decide to consume it, it should be in its raw state (where it’s much easier to digest. You should get less mucus, fewer allergic reactions). Also, try to get your hand on goat or sheep milk. The milk from a goat is much more similar to human milk on a chemical level. Your body can tolerate it much better. [End]

The idea behind culturing pasteurized milk is that you are replacing enzymes and nutrients that were killed during the pasteurization process, making the milk more nutritious and digestible. Otherwise, kefir can be made with liquids other than milk. i agree with you. milk seems to have a bad rep and i especially love the part where people bring up the fact that we are the only mammals that drink it beyond our beginning years. no milk may serve some people right but here’s an example of why people should not generalize and spread ideas of which they think are healthy ways of eating. ... a girlfriend of mine stopped eating dairy years ago and replaced it with soy products. she recently went and got a body scan and was told that she is in need of dairy (kefyer, goat cheese etc.) because she was allergic to all soy produts! she is now ea ...

I misread your message - I thought you said you were overweight. Yup - for an underweight person I would think a diet high in dairy stuff would be a good idea but really try and get organic, or consider coconut milk or something. Fruit juices are good too - natural sugar. Also - lots of nuts and carbs. But I wonder why you want to do the MC? Euch!! I dunno anything about a milk diet but it sounds pretty dreadful... You can of course ignore me or others can hop in here, but not even cows drink milk. It’s meant for calves. We are the only species who suckle beyond our infancy and we really don’’t need to. Also, commercially produced milk has all kinds of growth hormones and god knows what added to it. Unless you’re talking soya milk... The main reason I’m so anti-milk is that a kid of my friend’s suffered from terrible asthma and the doctor suggested cutting dairy products. Hi folks, ... ... I’m new here, but getting good information about this topic is very dear to my heart as raw goat milk and raw goat milk kefir have been pivotal in restoring my health. India is a third world country, most do not even have refrigerators. The milk probably does spoil faster there, but as to it being dangerous for human consumption is ridiculous.
