This is a picture of my dad and me,getting back from a walk.

I have been a seeker of health since I was 16. Over the course of time I have ate and done things I knew where not healthy for me.

Now that I am "50" I make better choices. I can honestly say I don't think I have learned to many new tricks except for the liver cleanse ( which I have not done YET ).I learned from Jethro Kloss "Back To Eden" and other older greats.

I have been married to a great guy for 15 years,parted for 10 years and have been remarried to him for 10 years this coming March. We have two young men in their late 20's. Dean just got married in June and now lives only 4 miles away and Eric is still living at home with us.

My husband is retired from General Motors and I do cleaning, homes and offices.

we love gardening,growing our own veggies,blackberries,strawberries and grapes and we are going to plant some honey crisp apple trees.I wish we would have started planting sooner,but better late then never.

I love dancing in my basement to music I love and jumping on my rebounder,hanging on my hangups,working in our yard,reading books on health,taking long walks,riding bike and the list goes on.

I have a best friend Bonnie she is handicapped by her MS and excess wight and puts in her mouth what ever taste good. I try to help her by telling her all I learn,But she can't seem to stay with any good eating plan for very long.I do most the stuff she can't do around her home, she can't walk and uses a fancy wheelchair to get around in.

We love to go to subdivision garage sales in the summer and out to eat, and yes it's not always the best food for us,but their is something healthy we get by spending this time together.

We have an outside cat family, two females and two males.Both Charlotte and smoky had kittens and they share nursing duties and take care of each others kittens. We so love watching this little family that lives on our back deck. just one of the simple joys, The animals God gives us to love and enjoy

I love the MH forum and even though I don't post often, I feel a strong connection with everyone here and so appreciate what MH is doing .Daily reading of the forum really helps me to continue on with my healthy life style.

Well that's a little peek into my life.
