Blog: Wedding Makeover
Today took forever to end! I tried to pass the time by walking around the mall, but I stopped myself from buying any clothes, so that I can wait until I reach my goal weight.
I did weigh myself again, I can't help it! I am now at 161! so I have lost 9 pounds in these 7 days! I am happy with that, if I can keep that going by the end of the month, I will have lost 40 lbs!
I made myself a veggie broth and added some thyme, celery seed, and salt and pepper. I felt like I cheated, did I?
I felt really weak and tired, and I think I exerted myself too much at the gym today, plus I have only been drinking 2 juices a day and the rest has been tea or water.. Anyway, I hope that wasn't cheating, or bad for my progress.
I'll be back to the gym tomorrow, and then off to the grocery store to stock up on more fruit and veggies!
I have been thinking about food constantly, but I am not experiencing any hunger pains, today was the first weakness. I even went to lunch with a coworker on Friday and watched him eat pizza. I had a bottle of water, it felt good to be so close to something I have been craving and not cave in!
OK, so please let me know about the veggie broth, I will try not to make it too much, but it was such a nice change! In case you are wondering I put about 4 cups of water with a bunch of celery, broccoli, carrots, asparagus, parsley, dill, and onion, and a clove of garlic (along with the seasoning mentioned above). After about 45 minutes, I strained out all of the bits and pieces of veggies, and only drank the clear liquid.
Starting weight: 170
Current weight: 161
Goal weight: 130

It's awesome that you're doing this and blogging it. It shows others that it can be done. Some people don't have in their life, people they can look to for clues on how to be successful at certain things. You're leaving clues for others.
Keep going! You're doing just great!!!
