You (we) were born selfish!
Humans are selfish by nature, ever notice how every new born lives in a self centered world of their own! All they want is to be cared for or if not the use will use their cry - Waahhhh! Which generally gets them everything they need or want!
Modern parenting has for the most part has not learned the meaning of the word " NO!" ... So we have raised a generation of Brats... { Not all but most}
Life is not about being served all the time! Children should be taught that it is in the giving that you actually receive!
*** Not the prevailing thought of today that " we want our stuff no matter what it cost? - thought of today! "
This just spills over into everything in modern life in the Western world! Just look at how the Liberal Politic is driven by " We are going to help everyone" policy! This is first of all not possible, or realistic and never practical!
Most parents today give in because they too are self centered; they do not want to be embarrassed or to call attention to them self! Therefore the present " I Want This or That " temperament which prevails, is making many people today Adult Brats...
So are you a modern 20, 40, or 70 year old Brat?
Therefore we find that many of the people today are spoiled!
*** Because no one has fully conquered self, in fact most people have never dealt with it on a conscious level!
Therefore many of you will not like the follow up which will comes in the following post, but it will help you understand our present social difficulty of selfishness and greed!

Yet the real existence of a person is actually far beyond what little we see in any mirror...
