    9/19 - Rolling right along here on day 5. I know I'm going to get a cleansing crisis at some point but yeah for now!

    Seth woke me up from the soundest sleep I've had in a long time early this morning. I wonder if it's normal for a 2 year old to still not have ever slept through the night? I wonder if it's normal for a 35 year old overweight female to be awakened a minimum of 2 times every night and to not have had a full, consecutive nights sleep in about 2 and 1/2 years? Maybe that is part of the problem why I have such a hard time loosing weight?

    Dry fasted until 9am, had water, then at 10am had oj/pinapple juice. Went out and bought a new enema kit but also ordered one with a pump off the web for more of a colonic action to it...hmmmm...we'll see. Did enema, then dry skin brushed my legs and then took about an hour's nap. Wow, what deep sleep while fasting. I dreamed that I was going to eat a bowl of raisin bran crunch and I wanted it so bad but I was struggling with myself to not have it, I don't think I did, but the alarm went off and I woke up remembering the dream and wanting a bowl of raisin bran crunch and I've been fighting that temptation ever since (among others - ahhh today has been filled with them).

    I've been reading some of Somer's posts in the fasting forums and may I say - WOW! She is super-inspiring. I would LOVE to do what she has done, bless her!

    oh, did angstrom minerals today also.

    Intake-
    fresh oj with canned pineapple freezie
    oj freezie 2x
    tea with agave and lemon 2x
    V6 (left over from yesterday)
    sips of oj / pineapple I made for Seth

      You have now inspired me to try to go on a juicing cleansing. I am in full time employment so it may be more difficult to be strict but I will try!
      Good luck with your efforts. I can see you that you will make it. I have lost 25kg about 10 years ago (I'm 33 now) and I have kept the weight off as I did i very slowly - over a period of 18 months. In the first 6 months I have lost around 10kg and I felt great. Then I have reached a plato and didn't lose any weight for some time. Finally, the rest of the weight fell off me as I was becoming much more confident, went out more, had a few relationships and started to excercise at least once a week. I am a very keen practitioner of "Callanetics" - it's a miracle how such low impact excercise can help to lose weight and truly change your body shape. Together with some "clean and healthy" eating, Callanetics has completed the job and I am now size 8-10 (European), which is about size 4-6 American (basically size XS and Small).
      I've recently moved to Australia and had to buy a Callanetics DVD as we don't have any classes here. You can get it from Amazon second-hand and it doesn't cost very much. Also, a combination of Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates (called the "Body Balance") is a great way to tone up.

        Thank you so much, Ellie, for the positive comment! You are a motivation to me! You have lost quite a bit of weight and kept it off, something I've yet to do.

        I have always had an interest in Callanetics (leg lifts, etc. from time to time), but never to the point of trying to do an actual planned routine. You have now given me the inspiration to check a dvd out and give it a try. It seems to me that Callanetics might just be the right exercise for me during the fast.... I tried Yoga during my last fast and the class I took was a tad too strenuous for me & it turned me totally off yoga ever since.
