I have a lot of the Masons books, most of whitch I am not supposed to have.

Many people think the "G" on their rings stand for God. The "G" stands for GAOTU, The Great-Architect-Of-The-Universe.

The requirement to become a Mason is to believe in a God, it does not matter what God you believe in.
Another requirement is, you have to ask to join, no member can ask you to join, and a member must be willing to sponsor you.

I know the secret signs and rituals along with the initiations.
You can go as high in the ranks as you can afford. Being a Shriner is not cheap.

Any organisational club that has secrets for members only, is great fodder for conspiracy theories.
The Masons purpose is to serve God and do as much as you can to help others, but you are never allowed to take credit, boast or seek attention for those good deeds.

It seems like the Crusaders in the time they spent in the Holy Land and excavating King Solomons temple along with other Holy sites seeking Holy Relics, they depended on arabs for much added religious information and history....hence the arab influence and symbolism such as the Shriners cresant moon and arab saber, along with some of their rituals handed down from arabs view of Jesus, God and handed down information of wise Holy men.

It is the heavy arab influence that scares me, along with their GAOTU God.

I don't have to read this book, I've got the real ones from the top down and was showing off what I knew top a Mason friend. He warned me that I already know enough to be killed, and he was dead serious!
