I am going to check and see if the local library has a copy of Mircea Eliade's book that you recommend. I want to read it right now!! Since instant gratification is not always possible....I will wait til I can get to the library to return my slightly overdue book or renew it.

Thanks for remembering my mother...processing a huge loss takes time...my family and I are muddling along, doing the best we can with it all.

I, too, had Dr. Villoldo's books sitting around, not the Four Winds book but all o the others, in my office. Every now and then I'd flip through them, and enjoy little snippets. The workshop was refreshing and quite informative. I liked that we learned and got the opportunity to practice journeying/soul retrieval. We got to watch two women doing an extraction. We learned how to reset another person's fight or flight response. Someone practiced that on me, and it's made a big difference in how I react (or rather don't react) to situations in my life since then. I loved that we got a chance to practice and have practice done on us. I also really felt I connected positively and beneficially with the other people who participated in the workshop.

I've had a Caroline Myss audio tape in my office for a few years now that I haven't listened to because I haven't got a cassette player; ironically it probably has the Woundology stuff on it!!
