I'm a boredom eater, too! Also an anger eater. I'm trying to make a list of non-food activities for myself, and thought I'd share in case it helps you:
going to concerts
singing
walks by the river
reading novels
watching old movies
writing stories
researching travel plans
running
hiking
biking
chatting with friends
bubble baths
pedicures
When I absolutely positively must put something in my mouth while I deal with myself, I've been experimenting with herbal teas: ginger, licorice, mint...lots to try. Anyway, I'm new at all this myself so I don't have much wisdom for you; I just related to what you wrote and wanted to wish you well.
