RAW MILK AND ECZEMA -
My four-year-old daughter, Emma, has struggled with eczema for the past two years. It covered the creases of both arms and the creases of both legs in the back. The eczema was so bad it would keep her (and us) up at night with her itching and crying.
From your website I discovered information about raw milk. I eventually found a farmer who set us up in a cow share situation. I started Emma on the milk about three months ago and now her arms and legs have completely healed up and she sleeps through the night! There is only a ve ... read more

April 1, 2020 - Raw Milk and the Path to Healing - For Adrenal Function -
Another critical nutrient for adrenal function is vitamin B6, which participates in carbohydrate metabolism and glucocorticoid regulation. Animal products are the richest source of vitamin B6. This water-soluble nutrient is very heat sensitive and thus is primarily available through unheated animal foods. It is therefore logical to conclude that one factor contributing to an increase in allergic and inflammatory illnesses this century is our abandonment of raw milk and other unheated animal products in the diet.

The Science Behind Raw Milk 4 y
Raw milk isn’t high risk at all but is actually very low risk, with proven health benefits.
February 10, 2020 -
There is a growing body of evidence that raw milk is a low-risk food when it is produced carefully and intentionally. Previous papers, such as “Recent Trends in Unpasteurized Fluid Milk Outbreaks, Legalization, and Consumption in the United States,” have shown that the rate of raw milk related outbreaks is decreasing, meanwhile the consumption of raw milk is increasing.
In a new paper published in the January 2020 Journal of Epidemiology and Infection, Cat Berge and Ton Baars have investigated the use of intentional raw milk production and testing practices in t ... read more

Dairy Battles Bad Bacteria -
by Peter Williamson in SPLASH!® milk science update: March 2019 Issue -
A new study demonstrates that milk fat globules can counteract Escherichia coli.
Milk fat globules directly bind E. coli and reduce its adherence to intestinal cells.
Mice fed high-milk fat globule cheese had lower levels of E. coli colonization compared with mice fed low-milk fat globule cheese.
It seems that more and more frequently, the news reports on outbreaks of pathogens like Escherichia coli, w ... read more

Homogenization and Taste-Based Discernment 6 y
"infants digest better native human milk fat globules than homogenized droplets from infant formula."
The science on homogenization of milk tells us several basic facts. Homogenization creates a ”related reaction” of fat globule disruption plus dispersion of casein micelles. The ”consequences” of this are the formation of fat-protein complexes and an oxidized or rancid taste.
If an individual had previously been drinking non-homogenized [and ideally farm fresh (unpasteurized) as well] they likely could be able to detect the rancid taste of homogenized milk. Or if they switched to the ”farm fresh” variety after having been a drinker of highly-processed milk they would also taste the dif ... read more
