Apple Cider Vinegar For Your Dog    16 y
Many herbalists recommend vinegar for pets, especially because it can be poured over garlic and others herbs to make medicinal tinctures. Even without those herb, cider vinegar is an important ingredient in your pet's diet. Use any raw, unpasteurized, unheated, organic vinegar .... Do not use a vinegar that is uniformly clear and clean looking, such as vinegar sold in the supermarkets. These are dead vinegars with none of the enzymes and other live factors that make raw, unpasteurized vinegar so valuable.

The Encyclopedia of Natural Pet Care (Revised Edition), CJ Puotinen Long a folk remedy, cider vinegar has been shown to improve health of dairy cows, horses, dogs, and other animals. It reduces common infections, aids whelping, improves stamina, prevents muscle fatigue after exercise, increases resistance to disease, and protects against food poisoning. Could it be possible that our ancestors got it right with some of their traditional hair loss remedies? Folklore tells us they certainly went to great lengths to find solutions to thinning hair.

Do Traditional Hair Loss Remedies Have Any Relevance Today? By Richard Mitchell Although each culture had its own approach influenced by local conditions, there seem to have been many examples of common practices. Nettles, for example, formed an important element of traditional hair loss remedies throughout the world. The samples outlined here have been sourced from the very informative work ”Hair Loss Prevention Through Natural Remedies” by Peters et al. This book provides a wealth of information on this topic and can be easily purchased through Amazon or other good booksellers. ...   read more

Proponents say that it can cure arthritis, guard against osteoporosis, lower blood pressure and cholesterol, prevent cancer, destroy infection, assist in digestion and weight control, maintain memory, and protect the mind from aging.

Apple Cider Vinegar Colonic   16 y
Colonics for a Toxic Colon A single colonic, professionally done, is the equivalent of about 25 enemas as nearly 5 gallons of water are moved deep into and out of the colon. Adding one cup of apple cider vinegar to the 5 gallon water tank will greatly enhance its therapeutic value as the acetic acid in the vinegar will inactivate HIV and most other pathogens in the large intestines. (Check your phone directory under “Colonic Irrigation” for a colon therapist near you).

Apple Cider Vinegar for Diabetes   16 y
The number of Americans with type 2 diabetes is expected to increase by 50% in the next 25 years; hence, the prevention of type 2 diabetes is an important objective. Recent large-scale trials (the Diabetes Prevention Program and STOP-NIDDM) have demonstrated that therapeutic agents used to improve insulin sensitivity in diabetes, metformin and acarbose, may also delay or prevent the onset of type 2 diabetes in high-risk populations. Interestingly, an early report showed that vinegar attenuated the glucose and insulin responses to a sucrose or starch load (1). In the present report, we assessed the effectiveness of vinegar in reducing postprandial glycemia and insulinemia in subjects with varying degrees of insulin sensitivity.

Buy a bottles of Apple Cider Vinegar from your health food store, do not use the kinds found in other stores, they do not have the same properties. 2. Pour a little of the Apple Cider Vinegar out of the bottle to make room for the eggshells. Don’t try to use a different jar or container, as I did. I used a mason jar once, and it exploded under the pressure. 4. Now, add the eggshells (you can ...   read more

Allergies: Try Apple Cider Vinegar   16 y
Allergies: Apple Cider Vinegar can stop most allergies like pollen, dander, dust, animals food, etc. We have found that when apple cider vinegar is taken either as a daily tonic or at the first sign of an allergy (i.e., sinus headache, stuffy nose, watery eyes), one can completely stop the histamine response or allergic reaction. The usual 2 Tablespoon dosage that you read about in books and on the internet is not enough to stop allergies, we've discovered. Usually you have to increase the dosage to about 1/16 of a cup or a shot glass' worth. Sometimes you just have to take this dosage once to stop the allergy and sometimes you need to take it up to three times a day. In most cases, your allergy symptoms will usually disappear between 1 -3 hours after taking the first dose. Recipe 1/16 cup of organic ACV in 4 oz of H2O, up to 3x/day. Increase amount as necessary being careful to note if heartburn is caused. If heartburn, drink milk and lots of water.

Apple Cider Vinegar: Acid Reflux   16 y
Rick Anderson wrote us: "I'm overweight and often have acid reflux problems. A high-protein/low carb diet definitely works for me in alleviating this acid.... but when I'm bad (eating too late at night or eating too much pastry) I have found that a small glass of apple cider vinegar and water, gulped down, momentarily makes the burning in my esophagus worse--- but then seems to completely get rid of the acid condition. I've tried this several times and each time the results were the same. Rolaids work by neutralizing acid; does vinegar really work by adding more? I don't know, but it does work!

Acid Reflux - Cures!!! 17 Readers have found success. One more anecdote: I told someone at my job about it, and she said her grandmother used to swear by it, too: a swig of vinegar helped acid indigestion. She also told me that in the ”old days” people would swig some vinegar to see if they had strep throat-- if it burned like hell when it hit the back of the throat, they had it! I would imagine that the acid in the vinegar helped treat the strep, too.” ---Rick BettyLou writes, ”My husband and I have been using vinegar for a long time and we swear by it.
