Day 9 and end... 10 y
It comes to an end...
I made it through day 9 - but I honestly felt awful. I was dragging and felt weak - and did not sleep very good. This is the first time I have done this - so I think making it 9 days has been an accomplishment. I lost 10 1/2 lbs - and I am going to switch over slowly to eating more raw - and fish. Some good protein. It is the one thing I miss the most! I really thought I would miss sugar more and I dont. I have lost a lot of weight on low carb a few years ago - and I think that is what I am slowly going to switch over to.

I made it a full week!
Day 8 - I survived one week!!! yah!! I stood on the scale this morning and my weight loss total for this week in 9 lbs. Only one more lb in the last 3 days... guess my body is just adjusting.
So my dad looks at my mom last night and said - you know - bunnies only eat veggies and I have seen some really chubby bunnies! lol Good support system! lol
On that note - I told my husband last night it would be nice to have a little support - you know like ”I am proud of you” or Congrats .. just something from him knowing how hard this has been for me. So the smart a** that he is - he st ... read more

I got past it!!
Well I will have to say - day 6 was the hardest day mentally for me. Maybe because it is the family dinner night... but all in all it went ok. I feel great that I surpassed it and did well. I just kept myself busy making my juice while they were eating.
We usually eat out so much and the ironic thing is - I find myself actually cooking more since I am juicing. Since we are eating at home... and I am cooking them more nutritional food lol I do have all the veggies and fruits around! lol

Pushing on through...
Well I woke up about 1:30 this morning feeling really nauseated. I got up, drank some water, then headed back to bed. I was ok when I woke up at 6:30 - but not feeling too hungry. Every time I thought about drinking something, it made me feel kinda icky. I did though - but I did not drink fresh juiced juice today, instead I drank v8 and some organic juice that I had picked up in case I needed them.
It helped not being in the kitchen too much. Even though I needed to make spaghetti for the family tonight.

Well it has not been too bad. I do have to admit I just REALLY miss eating.
I woke up feeling really good though and I kept determined to keep this us. No headaches.. but a little bit of muscle fatigue.
I went to the gym this evening. I had this incredible feeling of having to release some energy. I walked a mile and then did a mile on the elliptical...
Ok... I had to (Yes just had to..lol ) step on the scale this morning. I lost 8lbs!! I could NOT believe it. I know a lot of it is water weight...but jeez... its a nice feeling!!

Start of day 3
Well today and tomorrow is supposed to be the hardest days while your body gets used to this way of eating.
I cant believe I went to bed last night at 11. I got woke up at 6:30 with my little one having a sore throat. I gave her some ibuprofen and went back to sleep. The next thing I know its 11 am! I thought OMG - I have not slept 12 hours straight in I dont know how long.
I kept having really strange dreams too - well at least I was having one before she woke me up - and one right before I woke up.

Day 2 - and I have almost surpassed it :)
Yesterday was really really hard... not because I was hungry but because I just wanted to eat!! I can definitely tell I want to eat when I am stressed!! Or bored... but I would find myself walking into the kitchen and going well crap - got to get our of here!!
Today was a bit of a challenge too - as I got up and drank my juice but then I made sausage, eggs and toast for the family. UGH - then tonight - Brats for dinner... it is so hard to cook when your hungry!! Tonight - I am really hungry - but I know in the long run this is going to be ... read more

The journey begins
9 am....Day 1 of 32 on my first juice fast. I have been planning the last couple of days to start on Sunday. I have been eating less, and drinking juice for 2 meals a day. But then I woke up this morning thinking - why wait till tomorrow??? I am ready to start today!! Of course I stood on the scale and that helped motivate me. lol I wont weigh again till Jan 31st... that is my half way marker. I dont want to be obsessed about my weight, I DO want to lose weight but I want to feel better!!
