Gandhi Legacy: Peace 14 y
As much of the world marked Sept. 11 by remembering the 2001 attacks on the United States, India celebrated it as a day of peace — the 100th anniversary of the birth of Mohandas K. Gandhi's philosophy of peaceful resistance.
India commemorates Gandhi’s legacy
By GAVIN RABINOWITZ, Associated Press Writer
Mon Sep 11, 2006
Art exhibitions, charity events and tributes were staged to mark the 100th anniversary of the day Gandhi, then a lawyer working in South Africa, joined fellow Indians to protest a proposed law that would force Indians to carry identity documents and be fingerprinted.
On Sept. 11, 1906, Gandhi called on his compatriots to use nonviolent means to disobey the law, and thousands of Indians were jailed, includi ... read more
Sept. 11 Anniversary 14 y
Reflections on the 5th anniversary of 9-11
Out of the Ashes
Out of the swirling dust a hand reached out for me
From under the concrete’s crush I left my body free
Through all the falling grime that turned the day to night
I found my soul was flying towards a distant light
There my loved ones waited, arms open to draw near
My spirit elevated to where I could hear...
Heavenly bells ringing
Peace unto thee
Out of the desolation smoldering in the rain
I felt our anguished nation crying out in pain
I saw my picture hanging on the faithful wall

Jesus:Tending the Garden 14 y
Jesus the Christ, as channelled by Isaac George, speaks of serving Spirit rather than immersing ones self in the busyness and materialism of the world.
”Tending the Garden”
A Message from Master Yeshua (Jesus), the Christ
Isaac George @ Pure Divine Love.com
”I come in peace. Even though there is discord and troubles in the world, let your heart not be troubled. Your heart is needed most now, a heart that is awakened and resonant.
Be your beingness, your isness, instead of some improved version of your ego self. Wipe off the labels and throw them away. Who told you that you were not worthy of the Christ? Why are you still feeling stuck, unsuccessful and unfulfilled? If you are having that experience my friends, you are atta ... read more

This female (Miracle Moon) has given us five of the eight and her two daughters has each given us white babies. Her two white daughters are both due to birth soon. The Nature of Dreams and the Dream of Nature 14 y
Eliot Cowan, author of "Plant Spirit Medicine", writes of the nature of time and of dreams, and how within the dream of nature we find healing.
Research reveals matter to be empty space with a few tiny particles in it. The particles are energy phenomena. There is no ”stuff” in the universe; it is all made out of energy.
As quantum physics explores the nature of energy, some fascinating qualities come to light. For example, in observing a ”particle,” it is impossible to determine both its momentum and its location at the same time because the very act of observing a characteristic causes it to leap out of the probable state and become actual. All other characteristics are still merely probabilities at that moment. To put thi ... read more
Illness Heals World 14 y
Deena Metzger, healer, author, poet writes: "Illness is a story. It calls us to healing beyond our physical selves. A strange contradiction. Suffering from an affliction invites us to step into a realm of healing that can benefit ourselves, our community and the world. Illness is, therefore, at the very core of healing. Not a contradiction but the strange dance of creation."
Illness Heals the World By Deena Metzger
[This is an edited and amended text of the Keynote address at the Annual Convocation of the American Academy of Osteopathy, March 2006, Birmingham Alabama] Over many years, I have come to understand that illness and medicine have become the way of transformation of individuals in this culture and may be the way of transformation of the culture itself. We are, like it or not, in a global process of re-imagining medicine, of ... read more
Jewish Shamanism/humor 14 y
A humorous rewording of the Ten Commandments by Rabbi Gershon Winkler, who practices an interesting form of indigenous Jewish shamanism.
I first heard about Rabbi Winkler about four years ago, and read his book, ”Magic of the Ordinary, Recovering the Shamanic in Judaism”; I found it rather esoteric at the time, but will be re-reading it again. I had the opportunity to meet him at a workshop in Southern California last year. He is quite a character and has a very unique sense of humor. I really like that he has found the indigenous spirit of Judaism that existed before all of the patriarchal b.s. came forth that predominates the religion to this day. He explains that what seems at first to be nonsensical ritual (as described ... read more
Eternal Life 14 y
Dean Koontz, writer of tales of supernatural suspense, waxes philosophical regarding eternal life. An excerpt from his work of fiction, "Sole Survivor"
"...eternal life (is) not an article of faith but a law of the universe as true as any law of physics. The universe is an efficient creation: matter becomes energy; energy becomes matter; one form of energy is converted into another form; the balance is forever changing, but the universe is a closed system from which no particle of matter or wave of energy is ever lost. Nature not only loathes waste but forbids it. The human mind and spirit, at their noblest, can transform the material world for the better; we can even transform the human condition, lifting ourselves from a state of p ... read more

Spirit:Circular Time 14 y
Spirit tells us that time is circular, not linear, and the "future" has already happened!
”Our lives our directed from the future, not the past. It is as though our future selves have cast a rope back to us, urging us to grab hold and move forward...What if the present were flexible based on decisions already made in the future ; as if time was non-linear and our present moment were a reflection of something that had already occurred in the future? Pretty heady stuff, huh?”

Spirit:Seek Within 14 y
Spirit tells us to seek within ourselves to find God
”for some, discovering the Christ within will be a shocking revelation!” Gregg Echols, Discovering Our True Nature: http://curezone.com/blogs/m.asp?f=430&i=63
Reach within and grab hold of yourself, your inner power. It has sustained you through many earthly travails already. It is your rock, your redeemer, your salvation. Seek within to find your God--it is YourSelf, in all its potent Glory. The richness within is stupefying. All humans possess this within themselves. Few seek within to find it. All are obsessed with seeking OUTwards when seeking INwards is the key. Focus your gaze ... read more
SpiritSpeaks:Humility and Power 14 y
Spirit gives a lesson on humility, serving others as one serves oneself, and the necessity of meeting basic human needs on a global scale in order for humanity as a whole to become awake and aware.
In order to seek your Power you must Feel Worthy of it! Would Spirit give such Power to one who is not worthy? Is anyone NOT worthy? Humbleness does NOT negate worthiness--you know this. You can be humble AND powerful both; humility is a word often misunderstood. It does NOT mean being stepped on, used, abused, a ”doormat”. It is Using YOUR POWER FOR THE BENEFIT OF HUMANITY AS WELL AS YOURSELF! AS WELL AS YOURSELF! We are Shouting at you! Humility, to be humble, does NOT mean to be completely self-less, although at times self-sacrifice is called for. Remember the motto we have given ... read more

Peace Story 14 y
April 13, 2006
Dear Friends of Peace,
As we enter a week holy to both the Jewish and Christian faiths, I find myself thinking about the present-day relevance of the ancient stories of Passover and Easter.
Passover is a celebration of liberation. The Hebrews were slaves in Egypt who, with Divine help, were freed from bondage to wander forty years in the desert, where their faith was tested and refined until they were ready to enter the Promised Land.
We read in the Passover ritual that this story is still happening tod ... read more

Does Evil Exist? 14 y
A University professor at a well known institution of higher learning challenged his students with this question.
Previous Page, Page 5
”Did God create everything that exists?”
A student bravely replied, ”Yes he did!”
”God created everything?” The professor asked.
”Yes sir, he certainly did,” the student replied.
The professor answered, ”If God created everything; then God created evil.
And, since evil exists, and according to the principle that our works define who we are, then we can assume God is evil.”
The student became quiet and did not answer the professor’s hypothetical definition. The professor, quite pleased with himself, boasted to the students that he had proven once more that religious fait ... read more
