Day One, AWESOME! NOT! 12 y
Well it is day one and I have to say I am not hungry yet. I got up early and did my 1 hour powerwalk then went to the dentist where I was able to have my tooth pulled! How awesome was that?? Well, the two plus side to that is when I eat now, it won’t hurt and for 24 hours I CAN not eat nothing til the bleeding stops which pretty aids me on my way to this fast:-) I knew there was purpose in starting today AND I was not expecting to get my tooth pulled, how awesome!

15 Day Liquid Fast 12 y
Starting tomorrow a 15 day liquid fast. Which will consist of green tea, regular unsweeten tea, soy protein shakes and water. Not sure of the weight loss, but hope to look more lean, which I normally do when I cut out much carbs. So from tomorrow to April 5th should be a good start. Then I will continue my vegatarian diet for two weeks and come back to another fast by the end of April. Hope this works out, will begin blogging tomorrow on efforts. visit the page

My weight loss has been great! No, I have not gotten on the scale but from the end of September to right now, I have gone from a size 16/18 to a size 12. Which I actually wear loosely, but am afraid of trying on a pair of 10s just yet. I will try them next week.
Still running in the morning and trying to fit in any exercise classes I can during the week and watching what I am eating. I can ”stand” to look in the mirror now...LOL My clothes fit nicely but I am still working on losing as much as I can get off!

Day 42 Seven Days Down 13 y
What a journey to go! But so far I have lost 2.6 pounds with a overall inch loss of 3.8. I know for some this is small and maybe not even worth mentioning, but they said a healthy weight loss is 2 pounds per week and I had an addition of .6 ounces! I will report again next Saturday those results. This beats weighing in everyday, that would be so depressing to not see any losses for some days and it works better this way. Alright, today is day one (as so many day ones start)and I have already went running and powerwalked for an hour.
Although I am posting on the fasting board, I am doing a full fast, but a partial fast. I fast with water throughout the day then at 4pm eat a low cal meal around 200 to 300 cals because I go running again at night. This cycle I hope to keep up til August 31st and will only weigh myself weekly not daily. So, next week August 13, I will weigh and post any weight changes. But I will post on this blog daily of my workouts and menu plans.

Day One (again) of Master Cleanse 13 y
Well, beginning today. Was suppose to start on Saturday, but didn’t make it through the weekend. So, here I am starting anew:-) I have brought all the ingredients and am ready. Just dranked my cup of smooth move tea. I can not stand the SWF, it is the most awful! Will be journaling here each day, for how long? I do not know. I am seriously pondering 15 days, so I will take this one day at a time and hope to make it each day, will report again later today to keep an update. Good luck to anyone else who is starting a cleanse or fast.

Well, did the water/juice/and partial fast. NOw starting the MC for 10 days til June 18th (Father’s day) hubby is cooking all his wonderful meals. And hey he offered, I was gonna take him out to eat!
So, here’s to day one. So far I have already:
23 min powerwalk
15 min cycling
10 min run
15 min weight train
Now, I have classes, and will do some more noon time workout and running tonight!

Well broke the plateau!!! It was only a pound and 6 ounces, but hey, whatever counts:) I have changed my workouts AND eating habits. I now according to the articles eat every 2 to 3 hours (small meals) when I am hungry. As long as I pay attention to my body when it needs ”fuel” then I keep my metabolism up. And now I am not tired or ”ugh” during the day:)

Well, the scale has NOT budged in 5 days....Pretty frustrated, which means I have hit a plateau. I am for some reason steadfast on 163.6. I KNOW my body is not telling me, ok you are at your goal weight. And I can’t believe that. So, am going to hang tight and continue. Been reading some plateau articles, so I have integrated some changes with diet AND work out. I had to remember I have pretty much eating the same items, BUT also doing the same workouts in almost the same order and my body has adjusted to it.

Well, I have found that fasting isnt working for me. So, now I have started a partial fast. With mostly water but adding 500 cals each day. So, I”ll see how this goes. But on Sundays only water, since I go to church and mediate on the Word of God better:)
PUt on a cute outfit today for my daughter’s birthday party, and couldnt get into it two weeks ago. I couldn’t button the top NOR pull up the shorts. It was nice to wear something cute again. I found myself on a fast today without even planning it because I kept looking in the mirror and saying, I can lose some more!

These days are going by pretty fast:) I hope to make it to May 24th. Although this is a mini goal til then for the Health Expo, I have another after that June 2 for daughter’s graduation. So, we will see how all this goes:)
I know many are fasting for detox reasons and for curing many sickness, and I hope it goes well for them, but for myself, I am here strictly for weight loss. So far so good, but got some ways to go and can’t wait to get there! visit the page

Boy how time flies! Seeing a nice form coming through this body is amazing! I am glad to be on this journey and sticking with it! I don’t know how much I weigh since I won’t weigh in until Monday May 8th...(monthly visitor). That would put a damper on anyone! And I understand about the bloating and salt retention so I don’t want to get discouraged.
The group I started with has dispersed it seems, and the new group May 1st seems to be wavering....Although I may feel alone, I am glad to not be retreating:) I am not off to the gym to work off some more of this blubber...LOL

I group of us started yesterday, which is very encouraging. ON day two now and according to the scale I took in too MUCH juice, didn’t gain anything, but lost only 1.6. So, gonna slow on that today and drink plenty water, plenty water! On my way out to workout some where, so hot here to do anything outside! visit the page

Glad to be fasting to get a jumpstart on weight loss. I was glad to not have to take meds today for the pain in my mouth, it is subsiding. I hope to be able to complete this with NO going back to eating poorly. I have already written myself a healthly menu to start and keep.
