I start the fast tomorrow, yeah!

hi guys,

so i have thought about my plan a little bit more and I have decided to start my juiceing on Monday. Reason being, i am pretty excited about it and i want to get this started as soon as possible. I have had only raw fruits and vegitable for the past 2 days and included the juice with today. Grapefruit and apple yum! However it was a bit sweet, i need to fill the glass with half water half juice and it was a perfect mix. I have not felt hungry yet, which is weird considering before this i was eating alot of carbs and felt hungry all the time... weird. I have not decided on my total plan yet at this point, any suggestions? I think i am going to do fruit juice in the morings and veggie juice the rest of the time. I am going to try to get in 5 juices a day. But at this rate i will most likely get in 3-4 and drink lots of water in between. I am already used to drinking 4 liters of water a day with food and i am sure this will increase when i take the food away.

When i decided to do this i of course told my family and it has inspired my little sister and mother who are both overweight. I am trying to be encouraging but i think my mom has already fallen off the wagon. This sucks considering i really worry about her health. She not only is severly overweight but she just recently had a cancer scare. i know this will benifite her the most and i was really excited to see her willing to try, but as i am up here writing this blog she is downstairs making a huge sunday breakfast, filled with eggs, breads, and i am sure a lot of other fattening things. I am not at the point where this really bothers me yet, but i want her to be heathly and this type of meal isn't good for anyone much less the overweight. Any suggestions on how to keep a partner in the game?

Ok, so as far as symptoms go... yesterday was a 100% raw diet and i was totally exausted. I took a 4 hr nap mid day. this is really not like me. Is this normal for so early in the fast? It kind of worries me considering i have not even started the fasting yet. Well i will persevere. I am hopefull that this will pass and i will be back to working out soon. I just can't wrap my head around working out when walking up and down the stairs wears me out. Well i will keep you guys posted on this and please give me suggestions.
