i decided to start this blog today, which is day 8 for me. But i'll tell u about my first 7.
I lost 30 pounds on the atkins diet initially, but found that i just couldnt stomach fats, and meat anymore. I went from 188 to 152, but within 2-3 months i gained 20 of that back.
After realizing im so SICK and tired of being the fat girl. I read blogs on fasting. Not only did i read about the weight loss benefits, but everything else it does, opened my eyes! As i stated today is day 8, and as of today, i've lost 10 pounds, 148-138. I tried fasting twice before last month, going from 161 to 155. I fell off the wagon, restarted again a few weeks later, and went from 155-148. I never lasted more than 6 days. Temptation was too strong, and i didnt have the will power.
This time, i just told myself if i DIDNT stick with it, id get no where. My goal was originally 135-130 by my 21st birthday, which is april 28th. I'm now changing that goal to 125. I read maximum benefits and weight loss happen from day 10 onward, so im pumped to see whats in store for me!!
I feel better now. My skin looks better, and tho i myself cant tell a huge difference in appearance, i know there is one. My favorite jeans that were always skin tight, now literally FALL to my ankles. I have no jeans that fit, so i have to buy new on sunday, so im excited to see what size i really am!
After gaining all that weight after the births of my kids, the scale was my enemy, i hated going out in public, i hated clothes because i felt so frumpy. Now, that negative image of myself is vanishing, and im feeling more like the OLD me!
its also amazing to see what comes out of ur body! I did a salt water flush on day 6, and boy oh boy, ive changed my thoughts of our style of eating entirely! Though i dont eat, i fix freash, organic healthy meals for my family every night. No more pizza and tv dinners.
i think when this is all over, ill be thanking this website over and over for the inspiration, because i was on my last nerve trying to find what "works"
I have before and during pics from me of the beginning. Even tho the before pic was from last july, the during pics during atkins, and the way i am now, i hope it can inspire someone else
i just have a question for u all experienced users....what is the average weight loss after 14 days? 21 days? and so forth. I want to break a week before my bday so i can get used to foods so i can let my family enjoy taking me to dinner.
thats gives me about 18 days. How much do u think i could lose by then? Ive got 13 pounds until i hit 125...
its so fun to say that, before i was always saying i had over 60 to lose :]
