My goals and reasons for doing a juice/water fast.

I've been reading a lot of different blogs on this website and really admire a lot of people for completing a juice and/or water fast for as long as 30 days. I've tried to do a juice fast before, but didn't feel very supported. So, i'm hoping that this time, I can accomplish my goals of overcoming my food addiction, weight loss, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I've been heavy in the past, weighing as much as 186 lbs. I got really fed up with my low self esteem and wanted to have control of my life again. So in a year, I got down to 116 lbs. However, over the past 3 years, I've gained some weight back and am at 143 lbs. I've been really good about exercising, but my cravings get out of control, especially during the afternoon-evening hours. I want to journal my experience and find some positive coping mechanisms in overcoming my food cravings.
My goal weight is 110-115 lbs. So we'll see how my journey goes...I'm hoping to last for 30 days, but will focus on taking it day by day. I've gotten a lot of fresh fruits and veggies for my wonderful Breville juicer. I know there will probably be days where i'm be sick of juice. So maybe I'll drink water instead. Wish me luck! =)
