Every year I say I'm moving...
...I see many detox baths in your future...

The office (at least parts of it) is cold too-so I'm sitting at my desk with a sweater and a coat wrapped aound my legs. I hate being cold. I'm thinking about getting an electric blanket...for work.
Last night, I slept several hours before I woke up and then didn't sleep well after that. Wish I would have remembered to have a bit of molasses, that may have helped some. This morning I got up and did a detox bath. The only part of the bath I can't say I enjoy, is the freezing water part at the end. I cooled down in "coolish" water yesterday; reasoning that the bath water wasn't that hot, and as a result, I think my body did not switch over from acid to alkaline as it should have, & would have, had I cooled down correctly. I had the sniffles all day & sweated out my suit jacket and had to put on another one (thank God I had it). This morning I took no chances. My bath was hotter, and after the bath, I turned the shower on warm for a while - then cool, then freezing. I survived. I put on some Mitchum deodorant for good measure, and today I'm dry and no sniffles. What a relief. Shortly after arriving at work, I made an alk drink, and I'm good to go. It's lunchtime now, and everyone's food smells so good (even if it's not-it smells like it is). This is why I won't officially begin until Saturday. I just need a little more time. After all; it will be days and days and more days like this- smelling other people's food, and eating none. My t.v. broke, so I won't have the pleasure of lusting after the Food Channel goodies either - It's somewhat a bummer - but hey, when I'm done, barring a major catastrophe, there will still be food on the planet...
