Recovering from sickness and preparing to re-start my fast

So I thought I would just let you guys know that I ended up getting mad sick the second day of my fast and decided it would be best to ingest something, so I had some chicken soup and other liquid foods for the next few days. Pretty disappointing, but my body is thanking me. I am, however, planning to start my fast again tomorrow, so I will continue to let you know how it goes! I am planning to go for 20 days, and actually feel as though my sick period prepared me better, because I was eating "cleaner" and much more easily digestible foods. So hopefully the first few days won't be too hard. I think my biggest question for you guys is what do you do when the hunger pains get really bad? what are some good ways to combat them? the only one i know of is drinking a ton of water. any other suggestions? i know there aren't really that many options, seeing as it's a fast and all (-: thanks guys!
