Water Fast- Days 1 & 2
Water fasting for 1 week

I decided to do a water fast for 1 week. I started yesterday and so far i'm doing well. I tried to do a juice fast, but for some reason I do better with water fasting. I think its because the juice was awakening my taste buds and this was causing me to crave food. My energy level has been pretty good. I tried to exercise, but noticed I couldn't push myself too hard as I was getting tired sooner. I'll probably try to walk for 30 minutes and maybe do some light/moderate weight lifting. I'll definitely listen to my body and not push myself too hard since this is my first water fast.
I also had my first therapy session (after a long time), which went well and opened my eyes to a different perspective of what was causing my anger. As I have gotten advice from my therapist, my significant other, and friends, I am less angry and have been able to manage my emotions better, thus not resorting to food for "comfort" or "escape." I feel proud of myself for making small steps towards getting my life back on track. Will keep posting messages on my progress! =)
