Intro / Day 1

So today is the day that I'm beginning the 10 day Master Cleanse. While reasearching the Master Cleanse, I stumbled upon the tons of blogs here. I found them to be very helpful and motivating. Therefore, I thought I would try my hand at my own blog, hopefully it will help me through this process.
First a little background info. I am a 25 year old professional women. My lifestyle changed drastically as I transitioned from college to the workforce. I spend most of my day at a desk and at night I've found myself too exhausted to do just about everything (cooking, cleaning, exercising...). This has lead to MANY unhealthy habits. I reguarly eat out, rarely exercise and spend too much time in front of the tv. As a result, I have put on 30 lbs in 3 years. I feel sluggish and unhappy most of the time. I wake up in the morning and hate how I feel. I've found myself declining invitations out with friends and family because of the way I feel inside. I've decided that I need a change big time. I don't want to be the person I've become. I need something that will help me physically and mentally and I hope that Master Cleanse will do just that!
So I have begun the MC today. I am on vacation this week so I don't have to worry about many of the side effects while at work. The purpose of this cleanse is not to lose weight but to change my lifestyle. That being said, losing weight is a MAJOR plus and I am going to chart my weight loss! :) My starting weight is 164.5 (eek!)
So I have just finished my first drink, VERY YUMMY! I was surprised at how good it tasted. My stomach was growling when I drank it and I feel very full and satisfied now. I did not do the Salt Water Flush today because dummy me accidently bought idoized salt. I hope this isn't a problem. I will drink some smooth move tea tonight and hopefully do the salt water flush tomorrow morning. By the way I am not looking forward to the SWF! I once gargled salt water for a sore throat and that made me vomit. I hope I can force this stuff down.
I plan on doing 20 minutes on the elliptical and some leg exercises today.
Ok I may blog more later if I need a distraction. If not, I will post Day 2!
