Practical Programming for Strength Training
by Mark Rippetoe And Lon Kilgore
I'm interested in changing the appearance of my body through appropriate diet & exercise - gaining strength & definition with out bulk. These two books - which have been written for novices (like me) intermediates, and advanced lifters, are highly recommended because they are easy to understand and apply; they have both received great reviews. Another thing I noticed; when I checked to see if there was a used copy I could pick up cheaper - the price was the same as the new. Like gucci, I guess - some things never go on sale...I plan to order these soon, and I look forward to expanding my knowlege, and ability.
