Day 10
It was a tough one, but I made it!
Date: 2/4/2009 4:04:53 PM ( 14 y ) ... viewed 2958 times 2/3/09 7:00a.m. – Yeah!!!! This is it. I’ve made it to the last day. I’m just waiting for the SWF to finish up, and then I can start counting down the number of lemonades I’ll be drinking. Again, I know that I’m focusing too much on finishing, and that’s going to make the day drag on, but I’m so excited that I can’t focus on anything else. I sure hope that I’m so busy today that I before I know it I’ll be done.
4:15p.m. - Ugh…I’m so hungry today. I know that these are detox symptoms and that tomorrow morning I’ll feel great. I’m making some snacks for my boys, and PB & Jelly never smelled so good. It’s taking all of my will power and discipline not to take a small bite of their sandwich…That, and the knowledge that if I did, I would probably be very ill. I’m not going to quit, I will make it. I’m almost there.
10:25p.m. – Oh man that was a tough one. I was hungry all day long. All I seemed to be able to think about was, not having to drink the lemonade anymore. I know its doing wonders for me but ugh! I’m sipping on my tea for the last time and thinking back to the beginning, it seems so long ago, although it was just 10 days. This has been one of the most difficult things I have ever completed. I definitely feel as if I have added another notch in my belt. I know that I’ll be able to pull from this the next time I have something difficult to do.
A lot of people are commenting on how great I look, losing weight and looking younger, and so I explain to them why. They are all so curious and amazed when I tell them that I haven’t eaten in 10 days. Their expression is priceless; it makes me laugh every time I think about it.
