Date: 2/9/2009 12:24:19 PM ( 14 y ) ... viewed 1659 times Yesterdays salt water flush didn't work very well for me, I immediately wanted to vomit, and nothing really happened. So I assume that there's some other delicate balance of laxatives or herbs to make the mucosal stuff release. Any way I'll attempt an enema today, I wish I had the money for colon hydrotherapy, but that's just not available to me right now. I've been unemployed for six months, and the raw foods to juice are stretching my budget. If I don't get an unemployment extension, I'll be finishing this fast on carrots alone.
My advice to juice fasters out there, be careful how much green juice you prepare in one serving, I almost barfed after yesterdays mid-day green meal. Just way too much green to handle all at one time.
For my last meal I treated my self to a juice smoothie. I juiced an apple and a peeled orange first, and then blended it with ice. It gave me two full glasses of smoothie, and it tasted as good as a bowl full of ice cream.
My wife has been fairly understanding, but she still bakes rasberry muffins, and pops buttery popcorn, and microwaves smelly good stuff. Fortunately(?), for me the microwave pooped out this morning. No idea why and I didn't do it. I'll be making a potassium broth with some veggies today, she can have the vegetables, I'll have some of the broth.
She's horrified that I'm dropping a pound a day. I'm an inch shorter than her, and thinner to begin with. She says I'm gonna be short AND skinny, and my butt's the first thing that left.
