Date: 2/25/2009 9:31:00 AM ( 14 y ) ... viewed 1581 times Day 22, hit weight plateau. Still following juice fast 100%, Quite sure my metabolism has slowed to a crawl. No more headaches, very mild hunger 24/7, and only craving is for that damned veggie pizza.*grin*
I'll be starting a high raw diet immediately after ending my fast. I will continue the high raw diet until I am 160 pounds, and then I will attempt a REAL bed rest water fast once I have more information and qualified medical opinion.
Now that I am "detoxed" to a certain extent, If I stay with a clean raw "low" chemical, unprocessed and unrefined diet, I should be able to completely release the old polluted fat stores and build fresh from scratch. Then the water fast will be very efficient at cleaning house on a cellular level. The juice fast is great for losing a few pounds, but for people with severe disease situations, I don't think it's good for much more than a lesson in transition and especially mental fortitude.
