13 Days since 28 Day juice fast
Date: 3/14/2009 7:25:46 PM ( 14 y ) ... viewed 1641 times I've been off my strict juice fast for 13 days. My weight has stabilized at 185 pounds. I still juice every day, and I'm eating high raw vegan for the time being. I'm still trying to research healthy eating as a vegetarian. I'm worried about the "calorie paradox", and a number of other issues related to high raw.
I've been reading about toxic additives in foods and household products, they are everywhere!!! They are SO bad for us, I can't believe it's not illegal worldwide to poison us like they do.
I eat awesome salads and lots of juices. I've had a couple slices of vegetarian pizza and did not enjoy it at all. I also had a vegan burrito and was sick half the night. I have no cravings for sweets and do not binge eat anymore. I still like red wines and do like a cold glass of beer every now and then.
Be careful about starting a juice fast, it could really change everything you know about your world. I'm now wary of almost all the foods I used to eat with wild abandon. I look at the ingredient label on anything and I think of the toxic chemicals I'll be ingesting if I actually go ahead and eat it. So I just don't freaking eat it.
There's a lot to know about changing an entire very well established eating lifestyle. Approach with care...
