Hurray for MSM (methyl sulfonyl methane)
MSM has changed my life. For several years on most days I could not walk without fairly severe arthritis pain in my feet.

It has helped me so much! This past month I have not been taking it as much and some arthritis pain is RETURNING...! I had been taking 1-2 TBL of MSM daily for about 5 months and it took a few months but the results were nothing short of miraculous!
No, it was not the only thing I did -- but I really believe the MSM had a LOT to do with getting rid of the arthritis pain -- especially now that having stopped taking it for a while the pain is coming back.
MSM is sulfur. Some people are allergic to sulfur so if you are not sure if you are allergic or not be sure to start at a really LOW dosage to make sure you can tolerate it before you go taking 1, 2 or 5 tablespoons of it...!
I learned about the MSM from David "Avocado" Wolfe. Amazing stuff. Some brands are higher quality than others, but from what I understand they pretty much ALL work.
The taste (to me) is nasty -- but from talking to others about it I think I may be in the minority. A lot of people have no problem just mixing it in with their water or whatever. And me, I think I'm going to LEARN to like the taste of it because it helps me so much!!
MSM is one of the very few "supplements" (or may be the only supplement that is not a whole food in itself) that Avocado takes. But it is so good he makes an exception. And I AGREE. Good call...!!! I hear it is illegal without a prescription in Taiwan nowadays. A sad situation. I hate to see something that can help so many people at a relatively low price be kept away from the masses of people who do not wish to or cannot pay a doctor to get it.
For those who are allergic to MSM, not to worry. There ARE other things out there that can help break down that awful calcification that builds up inside of us and causes so many discomforts and dis-seases!! Some of these are zeolites or fulvic acid or shilajit. Even simple hydrogen helps break down calcification. I am starting to take Dr. Patrick Flanagan's MegaHydrate because hydrogen not only helps break down calcification but also helps us be HYDRATED by the water we drink -- and helps "deliver" the needed nutritients to our cells.
From what I understand, cells are pretty finicky. They don't like to let in water that is low in hydrogen. For this reason, a person who is drinking water that is low in hydrogen, such as overly alkaline water, can also become dehydrated. Bizarre, isn't it? Apparently a lot of the water we drink today is too low in hydrogen, so taking the MegaHydrate helps. (Oh, and this is one of the other exceptions Avocado makes in re supplements because I know he uses the MegaHydrate a lot.)
And it's very new and not that many people know about it yet, but Adya Clarity looks to be a rising superstar. It purifies even the nastiest water (though in that case you want it to "sit" for 48 or 72 hours before drinking so the Adya Clarity can have time to weight down the bad stuff and pull it to the bottom -- and then you can drink from the top). So it's great as a sort of survival thing. But it is much, much more than that. It's made from black mica from Mt. Fuji. A very respected scientist in Japan spent decades developing his patented method of harnessing the valuable qualities of this sort of precursor to zeolites. (Zeolites too come from volcanos but work in a different way.) I have a lot more to learn about Adya Clarity and I'm not ready yet to say that I can tell what it is or isn't doing for me, but I respect the opinions of those who have gone before me and declare its glories -- especially since, considering what it does, including helping cleanse the body of heavy metals, pesticides, plastics and all manner of waste while also providing ionic minerals -- and since it can be used daily for as little as 50 cents a day -- I'm definitely checking it out!
Oh, speaking of which -- and this is kind of interesting -- if you take too high of a quantity of zeolites or Adya Clarity without drinking enough water then you can suffer from at least a mild dehydration.
Hey, but I'm not a scientist and I'm walking too deep for my knees here so that's all for now.
Thanks for reading, and wishing you all the Best Day EVER....!
