I've had a change in plans. Some issues have come up and I will not be able to spend my days off in bed. On Thursday, I did start fasting, but when I realized I have to deal with some things instead of fast I broke the fast. I fasted about 21 hours. On Friday, I realized how much good even a 21 hour fast helped me, therefore, I decided I would try a new thing that might better serve a very hectic life. I decided I would try a possibly new thing everyday depending on me and what's going on. After all, variety is the spice of life. My goal will always be to keep my focus on improving my energy and health. So, I fasted again on Friday and broke it today after over 23 hours. I took a walk during my lunch break instead of eating. I did not even feel hungry. A lot of people eat only one meal a day and claim great health benefits. I can see why. So, even if the blog helps me develop a healthy habit like this, it will be worth it.
I FULLY REALIZE THAT I WILL PROBABLY NOT RECEIVE ANY SPIRITUAL BENEFITS FROM ANY FASTING THAT IS DONE WHICH I REPORT ON MY BLOG. I will try to keep it secret outside the blog, but the blog will prevent it from being a total secret. I also realize that it is not a sin to not keep a fast a secret. It just means I have my reward by so doing, rather than a spiritual reward from my heavenly Father. I feel I will make faster progress developing healthy habits and improving my fasting skills by having a blog. This is important. This is what I feel I should focus on now even though God is my whole life. I even feel this is what He wants me to do and I feel I had a confirmation of it.
