Were these many mounds artificially made even in the time when there were not even a shovel?
It is said that the topsoil in which farming is possible is very thin.
Now, there are some countries in which topsoil has been passed away by rain and farming has become impossible.
As the topsoil is so important that farming becomes impossible when it is lost.
I wonder if people would make mounds by heaping up the valuable soil?
Moreover if the surroundings of the mound are carried out, could ancient people delete the soil as many as several meters?
Most scholars have built small mounds, and then they seem to consent.
I hope they will actually make an giant ancient Japanese tomb of a circular shape with a rectangular frontage by human hands.
