planing on fasting for x amount of time. bla bla hoping for some personal growth.

Starting a fast today (3/16/17) I want to go for 21-days but I be happier if I could last longer. My last fast was a few years ago. I lasted a little more than two weeks and then 'detox' became too much to deal with. I kept the weight off from that fast for a year and then due to enviormental stressors I have been gaining back weight. I feel clogged and just like I am not living to my full potential and hope fasting will not only help me lose weight but put things in perspective. Maybe I am expecting to much from a fast? But I think its a good place to start. Cheers to those currently fasting!
