Like "The Little Engine That Could", I think I can try going to the Metaphysical fair in a nearby city again this weekend and maybe have a decent time. Months ago I wrote a blog entry about going to a fair put together by the same people, entitled "In a Metaphysical Wonderland."
Being the cynical realist that I am, sometimes I convince myself that I've had a bad time, when people all around me are clearly enjoying themselves immensely. This doesn't happen all the time, just randomly, sometimes.
This time I'm getting there on my own, and meeting friends there possibly. That will be better.

As I may have said before here and there throughout this blog, big crowds in event centers aren't really my cup of tea. Yet perhaps I can go, and focus on specific events and booths of interest, then leave, and have a splendid time!
