I have decided I am going to do a 10 day Master Cleanser Fast starting this coming Monday.... April 9th. I want to do it to kick my Starbucks habit again and also to drop a few pounds. I have gotten to a lower weight that I haven't seen for about a year.... last week. But, due to my future mother in law being in town we went out for some meals and I gained a few pounds back. No biggie... I'll probably be back down again by the weekend and after eating lean again all week. But, It would be so nice to drop some additional weight and see those lower numbers. It'll give me some inspiration to drop these last lingering 15 pounds before the wedding. My goal is to loose the weight by the end of May. My last wedding dress fitting is June 2nd. I want to be at my goal by then. And if I am at my goal by then... maybe work on loosing another 5 pounds in the month of June. But, one goal at a time.
In the next 5 days I am going to continue with the not drinking, eat lean and try to eat a lot of protein. The one thing that gets me when I do the Master Cleanser is that I desperately crave protein. The first thing I usually eat when I get off the fast is a block of baked tofu and a big bowl of lentil soup. I am really gonna try to eat protein with every meal beofre then and hope that eases the protein cravings during my fast.
My training is going really well. I am definitely seeing results especially in my legs. They are so toned now. I feel really good. And can only imagine that in another 3 months time I will be looking and feelinbg amazing. Now that it's to the last 3 months, time to really bite the bullet and focus. I have been casually working towards my goal and have to admit I feel 10 times better. But, now it is time to really focus. I want to feel amazing on my special day and be 15 to 20 pounds lighter than I am now.
I can't wait to get to my goal and work on maintaining it. I have been overweight by my definition for the past 2 years. Just that extra 20ish pounds got me really depressed for a while. Amazign how weight so drastically affects my overall being. I am happy about my progress. And can't wait to get to my goal. I think this next fast will do wonders for taking me to my next step!
