3/10: Master Cleanser

Day 3 already! Wow... this week is passing quickly. Woke up feeling great this morning and again slept like a rock. It almost feels wintery today but beautiful sunny at teh same time. The air is really fresh and crisp. I kinda feel that way also. I woke up, went to the gym with my Fiance and again just went on the stair-stepper for 30 minutes. It's definitely hard work though!
So, last night I had my training session. We mostly just do "core training" and barely any weights. The whole idea is to use light weight if any, burn fat and build up the muscles in my core. He didn't say anything about me seeming sluggish. I felt like I had lots of energy but no power. I felt like I had endurance but not my usual strength. But... WOW... I was sweating like crazy! Definitely different. Burning fat is what my trainer said. We'll see if he notices any physical changes when I go on Friday night.
Still feel fine on the fast. I have pretty much put food out of my mind and am just more excited about feeling clean and in controll. It's funny how much feeling guilty about little things eaten during the day can bring me down even without really fully realizing it. Without thinking about food... things just seem clearer and seem to make more sense. Funny how digesting food and especially the wrong foods can fog the mind.
So, starting to have thoughts about what kind of a plan I want to stick to after the fast. I would like to transition into a low-carb, high protein diet. Kind of like the South Beach Diet. I want o continue to loose some weight after the fast in time for my wedding in July. Also, my dress fitting is coming up on June 2nd.... possibly sooner depending on when it actually arrives. So, I would like to be at my goal weight by then or at least close to it.
