Harpo reveals the Truth about Love and Presence
"I wouldn't THINK of letting you come here and leave the Doctor!'
Date: 6/14/2006 7:48:46 PM ( 15 y ) ... viewed 1941 times I was living in Alpine, Ca. in 1991. I was living and working for Doc, the chiropractor, who was my second spiritual father. Doc is a story in itself. Harpo and Doc used to talk on the phone together. Harpo knew he didn't have to worry about me, because I had Doc at the helm. . . they had a mutual understanding about their love for me.

This journal entry begins on Dec. 6. 1991:
I spoke to Harpo again tonite. He answered the phone with "Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas!"
We spoke about Josephine, his mother, and her message of "LOVE IS THE WAY". . .what a profound effect those words have had on my life! He reminds me that she is near for me and I feel her love.
We speak on a level that goes very deep. . .our souls always connect.
He reminds me of a time when he used to make me say "I LOVE YOU" over and over until I really meant it coming from deep down in my heart. . .He wanted me to say it a though an angel swept down and lifted me up into her arms and held me with all the tenderness I could receive, saying "I love you, Mary". . . .He wanted me to FEEL what it felt like to be REALLY loved! Only Harpo could lift me to that true place in my heart. He used to say that when I really "got it", my soulmate would appear.
Then I said. . . "Harpo, I think I'll come spend Christmas up there with you, feeding the homeless and hungry people!'
Harpo says vehemently, " I wouldn't THINK of letting you come here and leave the Doctor!!! He NEEDS you! Your presence is what helps him through the day. . . and even though you screw up occasionally, he counts on you to be there to see that things run smoothly and help him do what he needs to do to help others!
I sheepishly say "Yes, bless your heart, you understand LOVE and what is needed here!". . .but must I be here 24 hours a day?
He says "No, you can be gone during the day, but be with him at night. Be sure to tuck him in and kiss him goodnight."
I say, " Yes, of course, how simple and correct is your perception! Why didn't I see through to this myself?"
Words from and Angel! That's my Harpo! He always gave what was needed. . .he reminded me that I could allieviate Doc's lonliness by simply "being" in a loving way, a soothing way. I am humbled to remember to become more christlike. . .to give where it is needed most.
He says to stay in touch--- we are tying into something very beautiful and we don't want to miss it. Something's happening here!
I love you, I LOVE YOU! I LOVE YOU!, HARPO!
