Ryback and Jericho brawled on the outside early in the match. The action went back into the inside as Ryback controlled the pace of the match with clubbing blows on Jericho.

Jericho began battling back with chops followed by a school boy roll up for a nearfall. Ryback reasserted himself and tossed Jericho to the outside.

Ryback tossed Jericho around the ring by the chin. Jericho battled out of a rest hold to begin his comeback, capped off by a Northern Lights suplex for a nearfall. Ryback sent Jericho to the corner. He charged him but slipped. Ryback recovered, hitting the Meathook Clothesline on Jericho.

Ryback followed up with a power bomb for another nearfall.

Jericho hit an enzuigiri for a nearfall. Ryback was dumped to the outside as Ryback barely beat the ten count.

Jericho opened up on Ryback, connecting with multiple strikes. Jericho countered Shell Shocked with a DDT for a nearfall.

Jericho went for the Lionsault but Ryback rolled him up for the win.
