if you use honey, i would highly suggest using RAW unheated honey. honey loses many of its Antibiotic properties when heated. you can dissolve honey in room temperature water by mixing the honey and water together and letting it sit for 24, shaking it now and then.

Thanks for sharing. I'm glad to hear that CS works well for you but I do hope that you take out your contacts at night because your eyes are most precious ( :
My infection from the scratch went into 2/3 of my cornea (which will cause blindness) so it was serious. CS did nothing for me but I'm happy to report that my eye is much better after using the Antibiotic drops. This leads me to believe that CS is not as powerful as Antibiotics and there are occasions in life where Antibiotics are a lifesaver. I've yet to try the honey! I'd like to maybe when the eye is more on the mend. In the meantime a friend of mine suggested I smear some organic lavender or frankinsence oil around the outside of the orbital bone starting just above the eyebrow. This is supposed to speed healing..
