well i have some Amalgam fillings in my mouth. i havint been to the denst in years about 8. he used to drill and replace them all teh times but now im wondering if its the cuase he has not done that in 8 year. Is this the same for you all? have not seen dentist in years and not had fillings replaced maybe causing e.c?

My dentist has replaced Amalgam fillings with white plastic. It doen't change the e.c. condition.

This is a reply to # 1,049,899Well the EC won't go away overnight, its a timely process. I have read a lot on the net itself that the mercury fittings does cause EC. I would advise you be a little more persistent.

This is a reply to # 1,050,553It has been already 12-18 months since the Amalgam fillings have been completely removed. (I don't remember exactly the date but this operation takes a long time because of the important number of Amalgam fillings in my mouth.)

This is a reply to # 1,049,508I've had Amalgam fillings for over 20 years and no EC issues. I am gradually having them replaced as I have other work done, but it didn't affect the EC.
Sadly it doesn't seem to be that simple...
