Mom, sounds like you jumped into liver flushing feeling like you were in an emergency situation, me too, and that's ok. Just need to add the other things as you're going along.
There is a common sense order to cleansing. Your elimination channels need to be open and functioning so that you aren't reintroducing toxins.
Colon cleansing - your bowels have to be open and moving for any other detox cleanse to work. Most toxins leave the body throught the bowels. There's a slew of colon cleansers out there. I finally settle on LBB (lower bowel balance) from the guy at the Ask Barefoot forum here. It can be found and/or read about at http://www.barefootherbalistmh.com.
Kidney cleanse - the blood flows through the kidneys continuously dumping toxins for elimination. The kidneys are in distress for a long time before any dis-ease shows itself in the body and they need to be cleaned up. I use barefoot's kidney cleanser from the same site as above.
Parasites are related to liver disfuntion. Flukes hide and breed behind the congestion in the liver. Getting them take flush, parasite cleanse ... flush, parasite cleanse ... flush, parasite cleanse. That way, you get the flukes that are exposed from each flush (I even put my dewormer IN the gfj/evoo on flush night). I use barefoot's Dewormer.
Candida, is a pain!!!!!! I had everything from dandruff and ear yeast to foot and toenail fungus, female yeast infections ... I've passed fungal forms of candida that were obviously growing in my bowels. In other words, I had systemic/all over the body candida.
To date, I've not done any formal candida program, but I no longer have any of those things listed above. How'd I do this? A holistic lifestyle. I'm giving my body good building blocks and opening my channels of elimination and it's working for me.
#1, I drink PURE/distilled water, organic juices and herbal teas only.
#2. I eat organics, most of it raw ... I supplement with unrefined, cold-pressed plant oils. I take 1 tablespoon of flax seed oil or Udo's Choice 3-6-9 in the a.m. ... 1 tablespoon of coconut oil after work ... 1 tablespoon of liquid lecithin/evoo before bed.
#3. I'm doing the cleanses ... doing them in common sense order ... doing them THOROUGHLY.
#4. Supplements that I take that I'd credit with helping with candida problems but not take specifically for candida: pure, wild Turkish oregano oil (I started w/1 drip in a tablespoon of omega oil in the a.m. and now take 4 drops ... this is an essential oil and one must decide to be a self-experimenter) ... I, also, take olive leaf extract ... coconut oil is a biggie in fighting candida or any other out of control bacterial/fungal problem in the body.
People are told not to eat fruit if they have candida problems. I ignored this. Raw, fresh fruit is FULL of PRObiotics which balance the good and bad bateria in the body. I eat 1 mono-fruit meal each day and I drink 1 quart of fruit juice each day. When I started doing this, my candida problems started to diminish immediately.
There were times when I barely knew my own name, and it would come in a flash. Wrong words would come out, not meaning inappropriate language, but just a totally misplaced word, nothing to do wtih the sentence. I didn't just have candida, I have fibromyalgia and brainfog is all too familiar. I tell my mama's it's my 1/2timers kicking in.
With my holistic lifestyle, I can tell you my mind is crisper today than it has been in many yrs.
Those that realize when plzchuckle comes, "the naturalist is in the room," are probably already laughing.
THERE'S NOT A NATURAL THING IN THE WORLD ABOUT AN ENEMA. I'VE NEVER HAD A SELF-INFLICTED ENEMA AND DON'T PLAN ON ONE. If I'm dying and the only thing that will save my life is an enema, you have my permission to do one on me. Capice?
