I think it is a difficult choice to go the
allopathic or alternative natural route.
Having tried the alternative route for a
serious heath issue myself, I found success
there and so did not have to go any further
and be faced with choosing to submit to other
protocols for the cancer I was dealing with...

Likewise, I would like to think that if I had
HIV, I might go the natural route first and
see whether it would work for me. Insurance
or medicaid will not pay for this sort of thing
though so it can be challenging to meet the
financial outlay but it can also be worth it
in the long run to make whatever sacrifices
you need to make to work it through. Especially
at your age, you have many years ahead of you
and so this may be a consideration, the quality
of your life...

I am not familiar with HIV much except that the
I have read that Hulda Clark posits that intestinal
flukes are the source of this virus. Going with
that idea, it would seem you might consider a
plan to comprehensively cleanse your body. This
should be done over a relatively long period of
time so that your body and immune system can deal
with the die-off symptoms that come when you begin
to evict the freeloaders from your body. You may
also want to look at your diet and begin to make
the choices it will take to clean it up and include
foods which will support your immune system and
also discourage other conditions I suspect you
are dealing with, like candida.

You may want to explore the Humaworm forum here at
Curezone since he has a good formula for dealing
with parasites, also, he offers a Huma-tea which
is based on the Essiac formula which would also be
a great way to support your immune system. Your
glands are swollen right now because you are fighting
an active infection somewhere. If this were an issue
for me, I would be taking Olive Leaf Extract (caps)
and most likely, Colloidal Silver . There are other
options and other protocols also which hopefully
others will weigh in with. Zappers are helpful in
cleansing but it will be more important that you
also hit parasites internally as well. Flukes can
line your bile ducts and number in the thousands.
You can eat one piece of contaminated fish and ingest
25,000 fluke eggs. Once I did enough liver flushing
that I found that I had flukes, I gave up eating raw
fish in sushi and dishes like grilled tuna specifically
because it is a health risk I am no longer willing to
take.

Spend your spare time researching and you will begin
to feel more empowered the more pieces of information
you discover to fit together into a plan of your own.

i tested positive over a yr ago and i have tested negative 5 times since.
i was pressured to take meds and get into a research study for new meds.
certain populations are considered high risk so our tests are interpreted differently because the medical community just assumes we are all gonna get it at some point...black men are considered high risk....

you could be testing positive because you have problems with your lymph nodes...you may be very toxic...or you could have had a minor viral infection when tested.

ignore the test and start taking care of yourself.
start cleansing, start using coconut oil, apple cider vinegar and olive leaf extract to kill viruses and cleanse. St johns wort is also a good anti viral and a good natural anti depressant ...which may help you sleep and clam down.

Relax, take a deep breath...swollen lymph nodes are a sign that your body is doing what it should... trapping viruses, etc...and you are right to be afraid of drugs. And you know what? Medical tests are WRONG all the time. I second the info you've been given thus far and I've found some more info on coconut oil, selenium & other supplements.
The fact that you're sleepy all the time makes me wonder about your diet...do you eat a lot of carbs/starches/sugar? Moving to a diet free of processed foods/junk/sugar will certainly help...

NEW DOUBTS OVER AIDS INFECTION AS HIV TEST DECLARED INVALID

THE "AIDS test" is scientifically invalid and incapable of determining whether people are really infected with HIV, according to a new report by a team of Australian scientists who have conducted the first extensive review of research surrounding the test.

Doctors should think again about its use, say the authors. "A positive HIV status has such profound implications that nobody should be required to bear this burden without solid guarantees of the verity of the test and its interpretation," they conclude.

The findings, likely to cause intense debate in the medical fraternity and anguish for many HIV-positive people, are contained in an article published by the respected Science journal, BioTechnology.

Many people who appear to be infected with HIV, say the researchers, can be suffering from other conditions such as malaria or malnutrition that produce a positive result in the test. Even flu jabs can produce the same effect. As a result, predictions by the World Health Organisation (WHO) that millions are set to die because of being HIV-positive may be wildly inaccurate.

The paper also lends powerful support to the theory, held by growing numbers of scientists, that HIV is not the true cause of AIDS. One of its authors, Eleni Eleopulous, a biophysicist at the Royal Perth Hospital, said this weekend: "There is no proof that people labelled as 'HIV-positive' are infected with such a retrovirus. We should really question the role of 'HIV' in the causation of AIDS."

Overall, the findings "mean the tests have not been scientifically evaluated", she said.

The authors say that neither of the two main HIV tests used have been adequately checked for accuracy. These tests rely on detecting antibodies to HIV in blood samples. But people whose immune systems have been activated by several other conditions, including tuberculosis and multiple sclerosis, can trigger the same reaction, giving a false-positive result.

Promiscuous homosexual men, illicit drug users, multiple blood transfusion recipients such as haemophiliacs and people subject to multiple infections become increasingly liable to give a positive result the longer their immune system is weakened, regardless of HIV.

To have confidence in antibody tests, they must first be validated by having their results checked against a "gold standard" that is, isolation of the virus itself. However, this has never been done with the AIDS test. The report adds that a procedure used to confirm the validity of diagnostic tests by looking for a virus's genetic material has also been shown to produce false results and cannot be considered as synonymous with isolating the virus.

The AIDS tests look for the detection of a protein called p24, generally considered the equivalent of isolating the virus. However, it has been detected in one out of 150 healthy individuals, 13% of people suffering from warts a condition that signals a weakened immune system and 41% of patients with multiple sclerosis, another immune system disorder.

Heavy exposure to sperm can also set up an antibody reaction, especially when entering the body through anal intercourse. It is another probable source of false-positives.

The WHO, which is seeking an extra pounds 2billion a year for its AIDS prevention programme, estimates that about 14m people have been infected with HIV worldwide. It claims the total will reach 30-40m by the year 2,000, and that most will eventually contract AIDS.

Developing countries are said to face the biggest threat, with Africa alone already having an estimated 8m HIV-infected people. However, according to the BioTechnology report, these are the countries where the tests may be at their most unreliable because of widespread ill-health caused by other diseases. Severe malnutrition and multiple infections are especially likely to produce a misleading result in the test. Claims that current AIDS tests are virtually 100% accurate are based on studies of healthy subjects.

Eleopulous said that the paper, which underwent detailed scrutiny by other experts, concentrates on the shortcomings of one of two main categories of "AIDS test" known as "western blot", generally considered the more definitive of the two.

However, she said doubts were even stronger over the validity of the other test, called Elisa. This is usually administered first but is widely acknowledged to carry a high risk of false-positives.

Screening with Elisa in Russia in 1991 produced 30,000 positive tests, of which only 66 were confirmed using western blot. In the United States, a study among military applicants produced 6,000 individuals with an initially positive but subsequently negative Elisa test.

Dr Philip Mortimer, of the virus reference division at Britain's Public Health Laboratory Service, accepted last week that some fair points about the weakness of the western blot had been made, but he rejected claims that Elisa was even worse. He maintained that the situation described in the article was not typical of this country, where there is less reliance on western blot.

An initial positive test would be followed by a combination of different Elisa tests, although sometimes including western blot, and a test of a follow-up specimen, said Mortimer. "Only if the positive reactions on both specimens are confirmed, usually in a reference laboratory, is a positive report issued."

He believed there was no evidence that people had been falsely told in Britain that they were HIV-positive.

The findings have been welcomed by Professor Peter Duesberg, a top American virologist who maintains that HIV is not the cause of AIDS. He said the evidence helped to explain how "a false correlation" had been found between "HIV" antibodies and AIDS.

"The whole virus hypothesis of AIDS is based on this correlation," he said. "Its proponents have nothing else: no mechanism whereby HIV could do the damage attributed to it, no animal tests, no cure, no vaccine, no virus activity.

"They have nothing conventional in terms of virus-disease argument, except this correlation with antibodies. If this study is correct, and I have no reason to doubt it, it means that even that is now falling apart."

The findings have already led to a call by the New York Native, an influential gay newspaper, for legal action against the American government by relatives of people who have killed themselves, or suffered toxic effects from taking the anti-viral drug AZT, as a result of positive HIV tests.

Charles Ortleb, the editor, said: "If the test doesn't work, and if people really don't know that they are infected, the whole thing needs to be rethought ... This should be given high priority by the research establishment. We think that as a practical matter, no one should trust this test." *

SELENIUM

Supplemented selenium at 50 to 250 micrograms (millionths of a gram) daily protects the skin against damage from excess sun exposure. (Intakes above 250 mcg, which could be toxic, should be used only for short periods under the guidance of a knowledgeable practitioner.) Two grams a day of vitamin C together with 1,000 IU of vitamin E also protects against sunburn.

Hardly anyone will experience skin damage from our suggested 20 to 30 minutes' daily sun exposure. But the selenium supplement is worth taking, on its other merits, which are extremely important.

(a) A massive scientific/medical literature supports selenium's efficacy against cancer and cardiovascular disease. A map of the United States showing areas of low soil selenium almost perfectly matches maps showing the areas of highest incidence of both cancer and CVD. The same is true in New Zealand and Australia. Crib death (SIDS) is also more common in areas of low soil selenium -- such as America's Pacific Northwest and parts of New Zealand -- and so its risk could be lowered by selenium supplements.

(b) More than 10 papers published in the past two years relate declining selenium levels to the progression of HIV ("human immunodeficiency virus") disease. An article in Journal of AIDS September 30, 1997, found that patients deficient in Se are almost 20 times more likely to die of causes related to HIV, than people with enough Se.

Recent research has discovered that selenium at 200-250 mcg a day can likely prevent mutation of latent, dormant retroviruses, including HIV, into virulent forms . This should lower and very likely eliminate risk of AIDS (acquired immune deficiency syndrome) among HIV-positive persons. Intramuscular injections of vitamin B12, supplements of vitamin E complex and N-acetyl-cysteine (NAC) also strengthen this AIDS defense.

NAC seems to help replenish stores of reduced glutathione, lower inflammatory oxidative stress reactions, and help protect against mitochondrial DNA damage, in turn decreasing replication of the virus. Glutathione is humans' chief internally generated antioxidant. The DNA in the mitochondria, the "power houses" of all our cells, has been described as 2,000 times more susceptible to oxidative damage than nuclear DNA. Adequate NAC serves further to facilitate detoxification in persons who have poor phase II glucuronidation.

Will Taylor, PhD, proposed a mechanism. He is at the Computational Center for Molecular Structure and Design, Department of Medicinal Chemistry, University of Georgia. Dr. Taylor sequenced the genetics of innocent, harmless retroviruses that normally lie dormant and cause no symptoms -- such as herpesvirus Simplex A, Coxsackievirus and HIV.

(The usually benign character of HIV has been massively documented by Peter Duesberg, PhD, a leading retrovirologist at University of California/Berkeley. To label HIV "the AIDS virus" or say that it "[always] causes AIDS" is wrong. Half of American AIDS patients are HIV-negative; and of the about 21 million HIV-positive people worldwide, probably 90 percent are healthy. )

Dr. Taylor concluded that Coxsackievirus, HIV and certain other retroviruses are coded for the production of a selenoprotein; and he predicted that the selenoproteins produced by those viruses act as brakes on the viruses' reproduction. In effect, with enough Se present, the HIV retrovirus makes its own "birth-control pill." And so selenium has suddenly become very popular in HIV-virus clubs.

When there isn't enough Se -- the low level may not reflect inadequate dietary Se intake, Dr. Taylor said -- the virus goes wild. Supplemented selenium, even if the HIV can't be eradicated, can effectively put it to sleep, preventing its conversion into AIDS.

And coconut oil, like mother's milk, is rich in lauric acid, which the body converts to the antiviral fatty acid monolaurin. Dr. Robert Atkins writes, "This may help in disarming a number of infectious viruses, including those that cause measles, herpes, Cytomegalovirus, vesicular stomatitis, and possibly AIDS." Dr. Atkins' endorsement, however, doesn't extend to coconut milk, which contains too much sugar.

(Excessive Sugar is now recognized as the number one risk factor for heart attacks in women, #2 for men; excessive animal fat is #2 for women and #1 for men.)

Coconuts Saved an AIDS Sufferer's Life

From Mark Konlee in his newsletter Positive Health News: Chris, an AIDS sufferer, found his viral load had reached almost 700,000. Enriched refined grains - white bread, bagels, pasta, pretzels, chips, cakes, pastries, cereals, white and pre-cooked rice, and all cereals. Read all labels - enriched means refined, the only people getting enriched are the food manufacturers. Avoid supermarket breads. Avoid puffed foods. NO CEREALS. Take note that all white flour is bleached with the same bleach used for your laundry - yum.

Sugar in all forms - candies, cookies, cakes, ice cream, table Sugar etc. Read food labels for not so obvious sources of sugar: sucrose, fructose, beet juice, corn syrup, caramel, honey, natural cane juice. Anything ending in “ose” is a sugar. Sugar is one of the main culprits in heart disease. Sugar displaces potassium which leads to heart problems. This was first written about in the 1950’s by Dr. Royal Lee, but no one bothered to listen. You can’t make money telling the masses not to eat sugar. Big Pharma would lose out really big if everyone got healthy.

High-Fructose corn syrup - a synthetic sugar derived from corn starch. This type of sugar converts straight to triglycerides and abdominal fat. Found in all types of food because it is cheaper than sugar.

SODA - made with High Fructose Corn Syrup and loaded with phosphoric acid, try pouring that on your Ferrari.

Artificial sweeteners - Sweet n’ Low, and Nutrasweet [aspartame]. All diet products, sodas, sugar-free products. Artificial sweeteners actually increase sugar and carbohydrate cravings and inhibit fat loss. They are stored in fat cells and promote weight gain. Nutra-Sweet accelerates the rate of retinopathy and therefore is one of the worst things for diabetics to consume. Splenda [Sucralose], don’t be fooled again. Splenda shrinks the thymus gland, a KEY component of the Immune system. Splenda causes weight gain because it contains 3 molecules of chlorine, which inhibit absorption of Iodine in the thyroid gland. Not so natural after all, now is it?

Franken fats [hydrogenated, partially hydrogenated/Trans fats] - margarine, Benachol, I can’t believe it’s not butter and all fake butter substitutes, Crisco, butter cream etc. Read ingredients. These fats are plastic-like, and have an endless shelf life [long shelf life=short life]. Thus are used in all baked products and prepackaged food items: cookies, cakes, TV dinners, hot chocolate, crackers, soups, breads, salad dressings, etc.

Vegetables oils - processed at high temperature, using solvents such as hexane, derived from gasoline: corn, safflower, sunflower, canola, peanut, and [cottonseed oil which is not really oil, but a fiber, loaded with pesticides]. Because they are rancid they are treated with deodorizers. Fast food-industry uses and reuses these toxic oils to fry your French fries so you end up with more oxidative damage. Vegetable oils: increase cancer, heart disease, promote immune system dysfunction, depress learning abilities, cause digestive disorder, liver, reproductive organs, and lung damage, impair growth and increase uric acid levels.

Low fat and fat free products - Skim milk and 1 and 2 % milks all contain powder milk, which creates oxidized cholesterol leading to arterial damage. These processed “foods” all contain slime [known as mucopolysaccharides in industry terms], which you, the consumer, will never know about.

Mass-produced fruit juices - i.e. orange, apple juice etc. These juices are derived from rotten fruits that cannot be sold and mixed with industrial water. We were NEVER designed to drink our fruits, but to eat them. Drinking juices is the equivalent of eating 5-8 fruits at a time, putting a great stress on the pancreas and ultimately leading to diabetes.

MSG - Monosodium glutamate - it is everywhere under many different names. Processed “foods” would taste like cardboard without this flavor “enhancer”. Mono-Sodium-Glutamat (Natrium Glutamat) has been linked to weight gain, poor vision and it fries your brain cells. In studies on non-obese mice, Mono-Sodium-Glutamat (Natrium Glutamat) produced fat mice. It is addictive and makes you want to eat more and more of that fake “food”.

GMO [genetically modified organisms] foods - 99.9 percent of all the corn and soy produced in this country is genetically modified. So you can rest assured that you are getting your daily dose of Genetically-Modified-Organisms foods. These “franken foods” are bound to negatively alter life on planet earth for ALL species. Let’s thank Monsanto for that.

SOY AND SOY PRODUCTS - Soy depresses immune function and thyroid function. It binds thyroid hormones and thyroid medication. Avoid all soy if you are on thyroid medications. Soy contains trypsin inhibitors that can lead to pancreatic disease. High levels of manganese accumulate in the brain and kidneys causing disease. Giving soy formula to babies is the equivalent of giving them five [5] birth control pills. Babies need whole milk to thrive and survive not a low fat diet! [This country produces so much soy that they need to do something with it. Don’t be fooled, most studies are funded by Archer Daniel Midland, the biggest producers of soy].

Fake eggs [egg beaters] - known as plastic eggs, that cause death in experimental animals. Made from vegetable oils, the very oils that cause the diseases we are trying to avoid.

Cheese products - i.e. prepackaged American “cheese” or “cheese” that comes out of a can. These are not made from dairy; they are cheese products which contain at least 60% vegetable oils, the very oils that cause all diseases.

Pasteurized milk - a dead food. 1 glass of regular milk contains over 100 pesticides residues. Not to mention the [rBGH] recombinant Bovine Growth Hormone injected in these poor animals to mass produce milk.

Processed meats - cold cuts which are not really meats and are loaded with MSG. These “foods” contain nitrates and nitrites which convert into nitrosamines which are carcinogens.

Turkey, chicken burgers - This “fake” meat is a mixture of skin, bones, water and other animal by-products. [My patient in the meat industry gave me this scoop J]. Don’t be fooled by the low fat content. Low fat = poor health. [It’s the type of fat you eat, not how much you eat- Greenland Eskimos consume 80% of their calories from fat, and they have NO heart disease, so much for the “fat causes heart disease lie”].

Battery raised eggs, poultry and meats - In addition to the horrible inhumane treatment of these poor animals, you need to be concerned about the massive amounts of Antibiotics injected in these animals that end up on your plate. The hormones to fatten them up which end up in your body, and the pesticides which end up in your fat tissues creating havoc on your biochemistry.

Bottom Line:

If you want to live a long life, eat foods with a short-shelf life

What ever “they” tell you to eat, do the opposite

When you see a heart on a food label, don’t waste your money. That company paid the fraudulent Heart Association a fortune to have their “heart healthy” label on their products. There is NOTHING healthy about corn flakes or any of the “fake foods” they promote. Save your money to buy real health promoting foods

Vote with your pocket book. If you are really interested in your health, consume real foods, support the small farmers and not the food conglomerates who will never stop finding ways to poison us.

SO WHAT CAN YOU EAT? THERE ARE ANSWERS AND SOLUTIONS.

Keep grain intake to a minimum. Most people eat too many grains which contribute to weight gain and eventually diabetes. If you are not overweight or diabetic, experiment with non-wheat alternatives such as brown rice bread/pasta, spelt bread, quinoa pasta, amaranth, millet, and kamut. Chances are you never heard of these grains, but they exist and are better for you.

For grain allergies, avoid all grains including wheat and especially corn. Purchase gluten-free bread, or yeast free bread. Avoid all yeast products including anything that reads hydrolyzed yeast, carageenan etc. Try spelt, amaranth, quinoa, teff, brown rice and other non-wheat grains.

If you need to use sweeteners, use Stevia which is safe for diabetics and will not cause sugar spikes. Xylitol is a sugar alcohol which is one of the better ones on the market. Can be used in baking and tastes like sugar. If weight and diabetes is not an issue, sparingly use raw honey, raw brown sugar, formaldehyde free maple syrup, and Succanat to name a few. A word to the wise: supermarket brown sugar is White Sugar colored with molasses and with an extra price premium.

Drink plenty of pure water - your body is 60-70% water [water, not coffee, not soda, not juice, but water (H2O)]. Water flushes out toxins, speeds up fat loss, assists in the assimilation of nutrients and, hydrates your body. Inadequate water intake causes brain shrinkage - that is a fact! For non-diabetics and if weight is not an issue, try concentrated pomegranate, blueberry, grape or cranberry juices from the health food store. Mix a small amount with water or seltzer and may be sweetened with Stevia.

Use only extra virgin olive oil, or cold-pressed walnut oil, sesame, flax etc. which can be purchased, at health food stores. Quality of fats/oils consumed can literally bring on disease, or promote health. Unrefined coconut oil [is a medium chain triglyceride, used extensively in burn units, and for preemie feedings as a source of energy] is excellent for cooking, frying and baking. It is one of the most stable fats, along with palm oil. It has anti-viral, anti-bacterial and anti-parasitic properties. Coconut oil improves metabolism, thyroid health and it assists in weight loss.

Use organic butter only. Butter contains vitamin A, D, E, and butyric acid which has anti-bacterial properties. Diabetics need to get their vitamin A from animal products. Beta-Carotene is NOT vitamin A. GOD MADE BUTTER NOT MARGARINE.

If you are going to eat dairy, eat regular full fat products such as cheese, Stonyfield full fat yogurts and organic milk. For quality dairy check out Realmilk.com for sources of real milk from cows that have been grass fed. Cows were meant to eat grass, not other cows. Also check out imported cheeses which are usually made from raw milk and are much healthier.

Apple Gate is a brand of cold cuts that is free of MSG, nitrites and nitrates . Can be found at Whole Foods markets where it is sliced fresh. Do not purchase the packaged version, it is processed. Otherwise, make them yourself.

How do you avoid Genetically-Modified-Organisms foods? A great start is to get rid of all the corn and soy in your diet. There are products that contain non-GMO corn. Eat organic fruits and vegetables whenever possible. Unfortunately Genetically-Modified-Organisms is going to be in most foods due to cross pollination of these Franken seeds.

All of the things mentioned here are worth considering (esp. the Humaworm herbs). I don't have AIDS, but, I do have swollen lymph glands. Some things that have helped me move the lymph are the following:

Lugol's Iodine Solution - Hulda Clark says that this remarkable substance can kill a zillion things. It is safe to injest. Hard to find now except in Aquarium Shops where it is sold as KENT MARINE Lugol's Iodine Solution for marine coral and critters. It kills all kinds of germs. Work up to half a dropperful over several weeks - siince you have a weak stomach, try putting one drop in some unfiltered apple juice (that doesn't have any citric acid in it). Once a day and then work up to 2 drops, etc.

Cheap Far Infra Red Heat Lamp - look for one at the pet store. Aquarium shops sometimes sell them for the reptiles. You can make one using a task light and an infra red heat bulb (like they heat bathrooms with). Find a way to expose the portion of your neck with the swollen gland to the light until it is uncomfortable - not painful - just enough to get the blood flowing. Rub the Lugols oil on the gland - starting with the outer part only and push outward to help dispel the poision. Like popping a zit - don't squeeze just gently work from the out edge to gently encourage drainage.

Lugol's also makes a wonderful oil. Mix 1/2 a dropperful with a tablespoon each of some coconut oil some castor oil. You can gently heat to mix. Then let it cool and pour into a little jar (I recycle cosmetic jars for stuff like this). (A small spice continer would work too.)

Your weight might also be b/c of edema - lymphs not draining. Lucky Vitamins sells something called LIVAH that if you take it faithfully (no alcohol) ought to help support your liver and allow stuff to drain. Also look into some sort of liquid mineral supplement (Vitamin Shoppe sells something called Trace Mineral Liquid) - its very balanced and will help you replenish your minerals. Also Kormax.com sells angstrom sized (micronized minerals) Selenium and Zinc would both be very helpful to your immune system.

If you have a community center (like a YMCA) that has a pool, steam room, sauna, etc. If you could steam and raise your body temperature and sweat that might help too. Keep in touch...
