there should be 600 drops in 30ml. the fact that drops can vary is exactly why the Iodine
docs had iodoral formulated.
i think the sideways drops thing is hogwash. the amount taken is not that critical for personal use. if one must know how much they are getting, buy iodoral. each pill equals two drops of Lugols
(12.5mg) and are scored so they can be broken in half to take a single drop at a time. iodoral also seems much better at delivering I2 into the bloodstream, the very thing that those with breast or cancer issues want.
personally, i use the dropper from my old atomidine bottle. it is blunt on the end. i literally measured 600 drops and got 30ml, exactly what that bottle said. it was a 2 ounce(60ml) bottle with 1200 drops in it, according to the label. i now take it by the dropper full, giving me 8-9 drops per and providing a solid 50mg of iodine. two of those per day and i am good to go.
