The chaff is an important part of clearning the bile ducts, so good flush!
Evoo is an unsatureated fat, which is what you need.
Coconut oil is high in saturated fat, but a medium-chain fatty acid. I have read that it doesn't even require digestion, that it is taken directly to the liver for distribution ... that would make it "not a good oil for flushing." You didn't hurt anything!
Try to make sure you have evoo in the house for next flush.
GA, I think that the stones are even cholesterol ... they float ... fats float on water.
The recommendations that I see from the "experts" is 2-4 weeks between flushes. 2 weeks was too close for me and I had a very sick liver. 4 weeks was enough to give me good days between flushing. It also allowed time for me to "watch" it working as my bad days lessened and my good days grew. Test for yourself and see what works for you.
I'm pretty sure that it was my first flush that I passed so much creamy white chaff that I literally could not see the water in the toilet bowl through it. I'd used evoo. Probably more indicative of how much congestion you have than anything to do with the coconut oil.
Telman, I'll never argue with you!! BUT, I will invite you to read Bruce Fife's The Coconut Oil Miracle for yourself ... and to look at his scientific paper references for yourself.
It seems that the tropical oils are very unique in the world of lipids. They are medium-chain fatty acids with high saturated fat values BUT they are burned in the body the same as carbs. He absolutely states that they require no digestion and are taken straight to the liver; he'd done his research!
